LK has, on numerous occasions, acknowledged the company enjoys the support and following of a large number of retail investors. The frugal way in which this company communicates with these 'valued' shareholders totally belies this.
The BOD simply come across as blind to the concerns of their shareholders.

Bamps, that was the plan re loans BUT in view of the massive overrun in time, equipment hire, manpower etc what's left in the kitty is pure guesswork, we don't know what they started with, we're never privy to cash in hand info.

I would rather err on the cautious as far as WTI price is concerned and our subsequent net revenue.

Hi Bamps. The two Lind tranches must be close to fully used on Saffron and come April there'll be a monthly repayment of $163,000, the equivalent of nearly 150bopd at $40 net. Production level of course remains to be seen. I really do not see any choice when it comes to developing the SWP other than enlisting a farm in/JV. Apart from the fiscal benefit it would speed things up dramatically and hugely assist bringing Leo's 5 year plan to fruition.

I'd say it's purely risk management assessment. In the same fund, Schroders Smaller Companies Fund, where you'll find CERP is President (PPC). Whilst Schroders have been selling off CERP they've been aggressively buying PPC, now owning over 17% of this oil company. Are they a safer bet, a better investment? ESG-wise there doesn't appear to be any difference between the two.

Forget the bank loans etc, it's Koot's connections to partner with a heavyweight oiler that will bring riches from the SWP, mere mention of a respected name becoming involved will have far greater effect on shareholder value than risking an attempt to go it alone via massive borrowing. It's a huge prize so accept less whilst sensibly waiving all risk. Indisputable imo.

Razorman, agree wholeheartedly with all your points. TH has been CEO for nearly two months now and apart from a bland video interview we've heard nothing from the guy. We need a company statement, if only to show their awareness and concern as to the problem that's holding back sp advancement. Contact/investor relations need huge improvement.

Schroders maximum registered holding 117.4m, latest notified holding (27/11) 108m = 9.4m sold.

A further 27 days trading have passed. They are obliged to inform Columbus, they in turn shareholders once a 1% threshold is crossed, ie at 11.99% which would mean a minimum further 6.5m shares sold to declare.
I think a TR-1 should arrive next week.

If an institution such as Schroders chooses to divest in order to minimise risk there is no knowing the level they wish to reduce to before they call a halt. Selling out completely or down to a chosen percentage, broker orders to sell into any strength regardless of price. Such are the perils of over-hangs, they crucify sp progress. Up to CERP management to somehow broker a managed arrangement because such a scenario as we're seeing couldn't have come at a worst time.
