I’m not sure if it’s done by calendar year or tax year but only a certain amount in one year can be placed.someone more knowledgable than me will know.but a placing is no big deal anyhow as I think it would only add about 25m shares
The site works for me so don’t worry probably your network is having trouble connecting to theirs...I have a regular issue connecting to a chat server I use at certain times of the day for no apparent reason... someone told me it’s something to do with my provider network interacting with the chat servers provider network
To be honest I’m just in this because it’s a good product and wish it had been around ten years ago.... my mother and father had a decent life policy but when they reached a certain age the provider started doubling the premium every year until it was unaffordable and mum and dad cancelled it getting zero money back...if these guys had been around then maybe they would have got at least something back after paying in for forty years or so
Stretchem you are what you are and its your way of paying the bills but you manipulate (or try to) forum boards... Obviously we all want swick to get a monster catch but you know nothing of what is to come...so shush and go back to your other rampy posts elsewhere....fekir ignore his tips he is a ramper it's his job...I do think this will come good but do not follow rampy posters tips
I took a small amount more into my isa ...my other algw shares are in a normal account so when price gets reasonable I will sell those ones probably at 4p and keep the isa ones.... imagine the cgt tax on the normal account if these go boom lol...should’ve thought of that when I bought them hehe
Regarding the other business there is nothing unusual about acquiring a pre-existing business to sell your wares....saves the bother of setting up offices, employees, legal fees, websites etc and also getting foot in door with contacts .....for instance I am a joiner cabinet maker if I wanted to sell my wardrobes etc in USA I wouldn't set up another workshop in USA I'd get someone who is already there to sell them for me...makes sense to me
Seems good to me acquiring the company for shares....they could easily just of had a placing or even just made the guy a director without acquiring his business so holding the business must have some significance.......looking at the colva business is what raised my attention to how similar the revenue model is to the other share I mentioned previously......I've held ALGW since around September last year and while I do think they need to work on more updates I've never been overly concerned.....there may be a placing at some point as most new businesses do...but so far there has been two points at which it would have been easy to do a raise but they haven't they have merely paid for some things with shares which I think is prudent to conserve cash in the bank....I don't ramp or deramp i just look at things practically.....one deal proves the product is good so all we need is that first deal then others will come...if they can't get that first deal then the wife will give me a thick ear
Btw just for clarity...the reason I am selling the other similar business share is it has had a good run for the five years I have had it and pays good dividend but last two yearly updates they are losing business to competition.....so if algw comes good then you need to watch out for others coming into the same market in the future
I am in a share which is sort of similar business to what these guys are promising to do...if they deliver two or three contracts this will go to 30p based on what the other share is at....I won't say what the other share is because it's slightly different market and I'm selling soon so don't want folk buying in on my word....just saying if Algw deliver on their word you can expect around 30p...maybe less maybe more DYOR....if they don't deliver on their word then you can expect your wife to slap you for wasting HER money
