What happens to the oil price when we come off the petrodollar system and go back to gold standard on 1 Jan 2021?

I sold out of 88E completely a while back but may buy back in.

There was an article a couple of days ago that clearly stated 88E had oil shows in FOUR targets but did not say which ones...I’m sticking with my 10p short term Target thanks very much...

Apparently “Charlie-1 well has oil shows in four of the seven stacked targets”...

Looking very good for my 10p short term target, my 20p medium term target will be a year or so away I think...will we ever reach my 60p long term target? Not sure.

I can’t wait until we start going up in 0.25p increments... can’t be far off now if results are good surely?

Having said to myself numerous times that I was overexposed to 88e and I wouldn’t buy any more I just have ; 251k at 0.79p. Now holding 3.5m at average of 0.98p. I’ve seen this a thousand times over the years and EVERY time it comes back stronger and higher. This will pass and sanity will eventually prevail as it always does. Keep the faith and trust in your research (assuming you’ve done any)....

I just need it to get to 20p and I can retire....

Just bought more to take my holdings to 3m. Yes I’m massively overexposed to 88E but I am confident that the weeks and months of research I’ve done on the company will bring its rewards. My short term target price is 15-20p in April/May this year and
40-50p in 2022. Deride me all you like it’s my opinion and that’s that. DYOR and come to your own conclusions.

Holding 2.8m now having bought 450k on Tuesday afternoon. Average is now 1.1p . GLA

I have a house sale going through on 11th so I’m praying it stays where it is until then so I can put a final 5k in the pot to take me to 3m shares. I think that’s probably enough then!

So what’s happening with the SOA Credits 88E are owed? Are we going to get those back but none going forward or are we not now getting them at all?

Maybe I’ve got rose tinted specs on but I see a successful Charlie I drill pushing the SP into double digits... I recall I watched rockhopper go from 40p to £4

Fair point but if the still is successful next year I think we may well see a move to a main listing to reduce volatility and more importantly obtain a valuation on the company much closer to what it should be. With everything due and the prospects for 2020 I personally think we should be sitting at 2p+ already.

What’s the betting premier oil take the whole placing?

All we can hope for is that the FO deal is worth waiting for! I’d hate to see a year of negotiations end with only a $15m cash offer, 3 free wells and a 70/30 split. Some on here might see that as good but I don’t.
