I would guess easyJet will have more anti-trust cases against it in the future. The cost of living crisis starting to really bite, after Christmas holidays, and people will realise that expendable income will be much less and will hit next year’s summer holiday bookings!

I actually can’t believe it is this high!

Bluegill .. I still have my reservations about that “seller” and think that there are still shorts operating at below 0.5%. .. holding the SP at the levels they want, probably for other institutes and stuff as there seems to be no huge movement on price… The company is worth far more than the current SP fundamentally, and on the Outlook for growth.

Stille it’s not just the bad travel news. It’s the thousands of people stranded that easyJet have to put up in hotels and or give compensation. This is compounded by the already yearly loss and eating more, into their profits!… and I am guessing that there will be more strikes for more money for the staff very soon.

I am backing them too and quietly adding in the background. I don’t give a shifty rats **** about the market games played with this stock, it is fundamentally undervalued and artificially, dropped/ oversold with a horizon of great money-saving technology, Just about to come into play … to me, it looks like a good recession proof stock to have in your portfolio, and something that will help the respective sectors with the game changing technology!

Barclays has a target price of 250. … EasyJet chief paid almost £3m despite airline’s £208m loss.. I can guess that has went down well with shareholders and the staff of easyJet… would be nice to see him spend his gift, if he thought it was a value on a few director buys!

Willy, I agree on Ryanair it is a dreadful airline…. but they are competition to easyJet and as you state people only want cheap flights and they are the ones that can and do undercut, easyJet forcing easyJet’s fair price and profits down!.. there is also a very strong possibility of a new wave of coronavirus, but I don’t want to go into that as I am sick hearing about it!

Mrlong .. point is easyJet is badly managed company has treated It’s employees and customers badly for some period of time now and is in my opinion overpriced, and destined to lose revenue from its core customer in this macro environment, which will not go away any time soon!
