The fact that almost all those shorting have increased their short in the days leading up today is deeply worrying for shareholders. They rarely get this wrong.

Sadly there are so many penny shares in the UK stock market - Boohoo, THG, AO World, Currys, Rolls Royce, Breedon, Just Group - theres tonnes of them..... so many will not make it. Now Saga will join. Inflation and interest rates going to hammer everything in sight.

can easily head sub 30p tomorrow.... its so low, its vulnerable to wild moves lower.... this company is struggling as much as Debenhams did with falling and now non existent profits, reducing demand, tigher margins, a green investigation and poor delivery timings. Coupled with costs for returns, this is seriously at risk.

Eurofil... we have all said that - Oh when it drops from £1.50 to £1.00, I'll double up.... oh when it drops from £1 to £0.50, I'll double up.... double up all you like, the macro-environment could easily result in multiple bankruptcies. Trendz - I had £400k of shares in THG (at £2.20) Boohoo (at £1.80) and CMC markets (at £3.00). I had resolved to hold all of them and had I done so, I would probably be down £300k. I lost £60k. These shares can easily half from there - I wish people would get it out of their heads that things are priced in. Boohoo has completely damaged its reputation morally, ethically and environmentally. In addition low cost competitors are crimping these companies. I really can see these share prices halving again and if this crisis continues....well god knows.

Can others not read - they are counting borrowed facilities as if its their cash.... its not.... anyone can say their cash position is great when they keep borrowing...

Cash is king and this company is running out of it!

Yesterday ITM got pulverised with a loss less than this company. They have got cash in the bank of half a billion to keep them going. They burned through 50 million. In the last year this one burned through 650 million. Very worrying and luminous red warning signs here.

DonBroco - certainly not new - I have held shares in THG when they were £2.50 and in Boohoo at £1.80. I held £400k in both before selling out at a £50k loss. Had I still had both my losses would be £300k. The appointment of those NEDs is another examples of a clueless dimwits - both NEDs work for dignity - an undertaker - that has been struggling for years and also worked for mothercare... I despair.

I used to just be like a lot of shareholders - read the crap they write - but I would urge people to read the detail. £89 million loss for 6 months is horrendous - if that is not a profit warning - maybe the term should be loss warning. Sales mean nothing - anyone can buy market share when they are willing to sell their products at a loss.

At that cash burn rate - they will have net cash of £1,100,000,000 this time next year. I don't understand the narrative around them having access to so much cash - its borrowed money they are talking about not their own.

clueless - too many on here think this is a great company. This has serious warning signs written all over it. Please read the accounts and not the headlines.

Serious serious financial issues at THG. The narrative and actual figures are far apart. To go from positive net cash in FY 2021 of £60 million to negative net cash of £590 million means over £650 million cash has been haemorraged... increasingly losses (500% increase) reduced sales growth and compressed margin are all red flashing warning signs. Sales are vanity, profit and cash flow are sanity.
