This is entirely irrational behaviour. The market capitalisation is reaching almost the cash this company has in the bank before even other assets are considered. This share price drop cannot be all down to Brexit - surely!

The cheaper it gets the greater the yield. Now a super bargain.

Market cap - c. £14 billion - cash in the bank £11 billion before other assets even considered. Platinum plated shares which i intend to hoover up.

They must see how under valued this is...

Good luck with that. When the dust settles you'll be left behind. The advantage of being in is you get all of the upside. This has traded down for far too long and I think its at least 40p undervalued before fair value is achieved. A lot of things could happen in the next week or so that could see this soar.

Look at their last annual accounts. £11 billion free cash. I know a lot of people here are sitting on big losses but I do think we are at the bottom - if it falls below £3.90, I am investing another £80k in here - I am on significant losses but remain extremely positive on this stock. VASTLY undervalued.

I am calling today the bottom. I am going to put my money where my mouth is as well.

We don't follow the DOW - just to be clear - stocks in UK are undervalued; stocks in US are overvalued. I am basing none of my investment decisions on what is happening in the US stock market. They have been chugging along for years at over inflated prices whilst our fall. Time for reversal!

AllAtSea = I wouldn't lose one ounce of sleep over it. The fundamentals of the stock market are solid - the FTSE 100 is almost at 1999 levels - stocks are undervalued. Where else are people going to see growth - housing market depressed (little over 1% return), savings offer a pittance (1% or slightly over). The next movement for interest rates is down in my opinion. People will be crawling all over the stock market next as they won't find a better place to make money.
This share price is so undervalued I am considering putting another £80k into buying shares. For God sakes - the market capitalisation of £15 billion is little over their free cash flow - they have £45 billion in the bank!!!!

The DOW has been going up exponentially for the last ten years - whilst FTSE 100 has hardly moved since 1999 in absolute terms.... they dont always follow

Well I'm looking forward to buying more - this is severely undervalued as are most stocks - all over done. Brexit now highly unlikely and public seem to be behind Theresa May.

If you think £2.50 is a possibility - I just think you are barking mad. We would need to be in full scale civil and military war. The underlying fundamentals of BOI are sound - Brexit or no Brexit! Anything below €5.00 is simply fictional based on solid profit generation.

BTW - Aviva is in much better circumstances now than in 2008 - the share price doesnt reflect this. Give it time.

CEOs come and go all the time. I don't get it - they are going to find someone suitable to replace him. What's not certain? colossal amount of cash in the bank and 2018 targets to be met. I would say that is as clear as they need to be. Over to shareholders.

after the bell when us punters cant buy - they sell all the cheap shares to others for well above the closing price. Talk about corruption - is there any law governing this market?
