Nutmegmilk - I have read all of your posts and you add zero to this forum.... I mean absolutely nothing, nada, zilch. I think its the first time I have responded to you. and the last.
Dont worry everyone the lockdown will soon be over.... I knoe its only £4.17... but it will soon climb once people start tp fly.... sorry everyone, we are in a time warp....
Nutmegmilk - Its not my view, its someone in the industry who gave the Sunday times that figure - but its quite apparent you can't rub two brain cells together to distinguish between opinion and facts.
Airfrance KLM have a lot of cash on their balance sheet (€10 billion going on). cannot see IAG bidding. Definitely a takeover target and if there is nothing happening behind the scenes, I just cannot believe that!
It also mentioned several airlines that could potentially make a pitch for the airline - Air France, IAG, JetBlue and others... it will be bought out at this rate.
Basically highlight is planes are worth more than entire market capitalisation... the planes alone (all 180) are owned outright and are worth c. £5 billion... the take off and landing slots at Gatwick are apparently worth a fortune in and of themselves...
I honestly think a swathe of companies are going to get bought out or merge... the ultra low valuations of an increasingly big number of companies make Britain look like a zombie nation..
