On reflexion, gold is ,in my opinion, true financial wealth. True wealth is probably something completely different.

The dividend keeps some of us hanging on and , in my opinion, gold is true wealth. Assuming that Centamin can continue to find enough gold !

It is difficult at the moment , Omicron variant more infectious ( particularly in bronchial cells X 70 ) but less infectious in Alveolar cells ( X 10 less ) . According to Hong Kong recent research. Ambulance and Hospital struggling. I think a very difficult December, Jan and February. But we maybe much better by March. but I though this last year !

I was tempted to sell as price seemed to be going to dip below 90p. I may have to sell most of my Centamin shares at some stage, because ,as always ,building projects cost more than estimates.But I hope and think that in the medium term gold will be a better store of value than bit coin. In my opinion over population has been the principle human problem since the industrial revolution. I agree with ,think globally act locally. In a small way I have helped in that all my children are foster children ! But it is a huge and morally very difficult problem and I do not think that there are any easy answers. I think education and particularly women's education is vital. I think population is a much more morally difficult problem to solve than global warming and is the root cause behind global warming. Humans tend to like solving problems . But one does not want the solution to be worse than the initial problem . But I accept that these are just my views and others may violently disagree .

I Went to buy some more Vesarian masks. No longer available . It seems to be from the internet that Canada says that possible health risk from inhalation of graphene. But balanced against this I feel more secure when out knowing that my risk of inhaling corona virus is less. I suppose that I just wash my current masks . My current masks are going a bit where nose bridge piece is.

At last, the roofers are building my house extension roof ,while the sun shines in the UK! It will be nice not to have to mop the water out after it rains ! Unfortunately ,building work can cost twice as much and take twice as long as originally expected. I hope I do not have to sell my Centamin shares before the eventual rise in the price of gold and the price of Centamin shares.. I think that fiat currencies may keep gold down this year, but eventually , probably next year, gold price will rise. But then ,I could be wrong.

I am committed to a very large building extension at the moment. I may have sell my Centamin shares in the next six months . Think that gold is money and fiat money is paper. I think that efficient gold miners should be profitable. I had hoped that Centamin was an efficient company. I hope I can keep may Centamin until they are profitable !
