Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Simplicius, just for clarification, our competitors have historically made lots of claims of contracts, but unfortunately not all have actually resulted in cars rolling off the production lines. To date see have not lost a single contract hence start of production is significant.
Timc, our Qualcomm tie up makes it quick and simple to include our technology into an OEM design. As regulatory deadlines approach this will become ever more appealing but we only get paid once by the OEM…nice thought though.
Unfortunately there’s no mention of our involvement in this aviation research project, however L3 Harris is clearly highlighted in the video clip, and they know all about our capabilities.
Aaroon it’s an interesting thought you have had, if on Monday we get an Rns denying ‘recent speculation that the 10th may Rns is Honda’ it means that we are still awaiting official Honda confirmation and the first could indeed be Subaru
Lightweight, during your posting history you ask questions, which is entirely acceptable for someone lacking knowledge to do. But both formerly and today you have slated long term holders, industry analysts and financial journalists all of whom actually do know what they are talking about, which makes everyone question your motives.
Sophie has very generously given me two additional hats with see logos that I’m very happy to post. The question is…who should the lucky recipients be.
One could be the winning prize for the person nearest to guessing the end of year sp, one could be passed around between us all, and photographed in far off locations…unless someone has better ideas, suggestions welcomed!

Agreed, they brought out the Cadillac ct6 in November 18? Which had fantastic reviews of their super cruise technology. Then nothing, I was expecting a series of announcements regarding how super cruise was going to be extended throughout GM, but the wait continued. I can only assume that either they have been caught out with the success or wanted more confidence before extending the option. Fortunately they are now working hard to catch up.
Whilst we all currently have both hopes and concerns, the asset hasn’t gone anywhere, so in a spirit of both cautious optimism and my pseudonym, I bought a few at 8am this morning for my son, good luck everyone.

Shed, there’s probably quite a few people who have been keeping a watch and reading the postings, but the issues that have not yet been addressed are holding everyone back. We all bought into the phenomenal opportunities afforded by the asset but a series of placings have decimated our holdings, investors are supposed to be able to eventually expect a return and expectations frankly are rock bottom. Radio silence from the top hasn’t helped.
Went too soon (and not for the first time!)
The downside clearly is that there will occasionally be things outside of his control that we need to accept as a fact of life, these things happen…without trying to crucify him.
Isb, “he needs to stop talking and deliver results “. But we have been asking for him to be more vocal for months, and I suspect that it’s because of not wanting another ‘imminent’ incident that he’s reluctant to say anything more than he has to.
I want him to broadcast the potential worldwide, I want him to forecast our break even situation, and yes I want him to update us on contracts won and aviation news. The downside clearly
They invested £10m in see, in addition they have invested in a new factory and as Colin says, are clearly aiming for very high volume… each containing our licensed technology.
The plant will produce some of the company’s most innovative Level 2 ADAS solutions as well as technologies for the electric vehicle market. These include Magna’s most advanced front camera modules and in-cabin cameras for the launch of the company’s recently announced integrated driver and occupant monitoring system.

Smart Eye Research Instruments
Nearly everyone has had some experience with airline travel. Yet global demand for commercial airline pilots will likely be twice as high in just 20 years. Training centers will need to prepare for a massive recruitment of pilots, which means that pilot training systems must improve their training effectiveness, especially when it comes to performance.
pilot training eye tracking
Pilot training eye tracking technology, used along with simulator training, could identify problems with pilots’ instrument scans and help them correct their techniques for future flights. Together with the instructor, the pilot can increase their awareness of monitoring behaviors they might never have noticed on their own.
Smart Eye’s eye tracking technology has contributed significantly to the advancement of aviation training and research, and we hope to continuously improve the safety of both the aviation and automotive travel industry in the years to come.

PMG QUESTIONS
In auto we enjoy regulatory tailwinds, does our contract with air services mean that we have now obtained regulatory approval for our technology to be installed on commercial passenger carrying aircraft, could you elaborate please?
In Dec 2018 we announced a collaboration with L3 for a “major Australian airline “ FF simulator. In Oct 2020 we signed an MOU with L3, have these avenues of interest ended or are we still pursuing the opportunity?
In the June 2021 RNS we announced that the Australian defence crew training with CAE which “exceeded all stakeholder expectations” had opened up additional opportunities. Are you yet in a position to discuss these opportunities and the progress so far?
Although it’s relatively recent, the RNS Nov 2021 announced a collaboration with Collins to jointly market a co developed ‘solution’, could you elaborate please?
MAJOREM “? What is the average revenue per auto, truck, train, stimulator, and/or plane? “
After all this time I had no idea about this new market opportunity, but I’m still not entirely sure whether you’re referring to positive talking, electro shock therapy or marital aids when you reference stimulators… don’t you just love predictive text!
Seye are pushing the research project angle. Good luck to them as we haven’t pursued that opportunity, we’ll just take the rest!
If you are shopping for an eye tracking system for your research project, here are just a few to get you started:

Pilots fall asleep regularly, but consistently not replying to air traffic control in the pre landing phase is generally where it becomes undeniably obvious. Personally I think the cost savings of having fewer crew on longer trips will be the driving force that gets this going, the safety angle will eventually generate mass adoption.
I think PMG is in a very strong position. With various options via different organisations. His recent comments might possibly be taken as… Collins need to make a better offer or we’ll do multiple deals
