Looks positive to me, if the Truells felt it wasn’t realistic for the RTO reckon they wouldn’t waste anymore time and money on it. If the lifted the suspension, with the recents sales improvement I’m sure the SP would rise enough for them to get out with a profit.

As has been said the website leads me to feel confident things are still on track, albeit a bit slower than hoped. Pre Christmas present hopefully.

No arguments there, just that Elon can say he needs miners to get on with it, don’t mean they will. At least not till it’s economically viable to them. Going to need Nickel a lot higher to incentivise new miners. The big players may be able to push things along faster, hence I reckon Vermelho will need a JV partner.

All going in the right direction though.

Suppose that’s the problem/dilemma with Indonesia acting almost like Saudi Arabia in terms of swing operator. Hard to see short term what will cause the Nickel price to rise sufficiently to make it conducive to push Nickel Sulphate focused mines. Elon needs to keep battery prices in check, hence his original drive to reduce the amount of cobalt in the battery. If Nickel prices get too expensive I suppose different battery types will become prevalent.

It’s still hard for me to believe in a world of negative or near zero rates financing is problematic to get. Still hopefully we are getting close on Araguaia. With Nickel at $13,500, would hope this is now giving the money boys some comfort on Araguaia project development.

Although Elon takes the iron phosphate battery for China. He goes on to say this requires a highly optimised car and that higher energy density batteries are also need for bigger EV’s.

Fair enough, probably bit strong on my part. Blame it on frustration. Just like to hear some news on progress I guess.

Is just sitting and waiting for what? The board have put focus on Araguia as this was seen as manageable with HZM resources and anticipated Nickel price. Vermelho was due to be developed later when prices were better and we were in a better financial position. (My take on it).

Looking at Elon highlighting the need for Nickel in his batteries I can’t think that we haven’t been approached to push Vermelho along. A big player is needed to get that mine to a scale that will meet demands in 3-4 years and let’s face it that ain’t cheap.

All the major car Companies are on the back foot wrt EVs and trying to catch up. Tesla is way ahead . But if news (ie EV car launches) from the competitors is to be taken seriously, EV adoption is taking off a lot faster than is being signaled by analysts. If that’s true batteries/nickel is going to be in big demand.

Bring it on.

Wonder what price Nickel needs to be before new EV grade nickel is developed. We’ve Vermelho, but the board are focused on Araguia as it’s doable in this currently priced market. And yet we’re still negotiating to get the right deal on a Teir one asset. Going to be a squeeze sooner or later on Nickel prices or even bifurcation of Nickel price based on class 1 & 2. (Did discuss that with JM a few years back, but then it was beneficial to see Nickel prices just rise).

Well it’s currently up over 6.5% in after hours trading after the beat on results.

Be great to see a TR1 this week. Hard to believe us PI’s are doing all the heavy lifting at present. Must be a small cap/AIM fund that should be interested in a position here, especially if you believe we actually have two tier one prospects with finance news due in the next 3 months.

There will be an awful lot of buys in the 3.6-4p zone over the last 2 days. The majority will be here for a decent return I’m sure. So hopefully the amount of traceable float is getting used up thus leading to higher bid prices. At least that’s my logic. But hard to fathom how they can push the SP around like they do.

Oh well onwards and upwards!
