Well with the FED setting it’s stall out for next year, getting our debt sorted now looks very good indeed. (Said my opinion on the equity raise, so moving on).

Other companies setting about developing a new mine or expanding are now moving into a tighter regime. Good for us as the smaller the competition the better the prospects for needing Nickel to push higher to incentivise new projects. Meanwhile we will be a producer of a Tier 1 asset. Araguaia stage 2 might well get fast tracked.

At some point the shorter will close. We may not rise to my hoped for 10-12p any time soon, probably later in Q1, but reality will set in and institutional funds will see the opportunity. PI’s that can wait will benefit, those that can’t fair enough hope you do well elsewhere..

I’m trying to gauge where in the short term the SP is likely to reach by year end. Was hoping we would be nearer to 12p, but then wasn’t expecting a Equity Strike price of 7p, but doubting we will reach it then. So looking at a more conservative price range of 8-9p.

Would be good for the value add on a senior partner in a JV, we’ve got too much on now for us to really push Vermelho without shooting ourself in the foot.

Should add wasn’t too happy with some of the deal and the Strike price, but we move on.

Tempted to add with the drop, but already a bit stretched for my portfolio. Might scramble a few if we are still messing around sub 7p later next week.

Not sure I follow the Vermelho opportunity for Teck. Like the rest of us they got Diluted substantially. Maybe they didn’t feel the deal offered the best value for money to them. Glencore gets the Off-Take arrangement for a small amount of equity. Teck can now buy in the open market like the rest of us below the equity raise if so inclined.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a few traders who bought Friday not seeing an RNS so getting out.

Well much as we would love everything done at a premium. Institutional money always seems to get a preferential deal.

Still see this on the whole as good news for sorting out the next phases in development of our assets. Only minor dilution 2%. Gold is now well over $1800 and Newsflow will keep things positive.

So to maximise the annoyance factor issue the RNS on Monday afternoon. Lol probably annoy a few who sell out on Monday morning.

Personally think we’ve all been here long enough to know it’s coming and if it’s not tomorrow, Monday or Tuesday, it not far off.

I’m still of the opinion that the equity raise is at a premium and stick by my 10p mark. Orion royalty deal was said to by at the equivalent of a 10p raise when it was done. (Think we were still around the 3p mark in those days).
Nickel is well above our DFS and projected to be in the 20s once production starts up.

Managed to add a few more (@25.4p) to my SIPP on the pull back. Strange times, get an RNS that demonstrates progress and actual monies coming and some peeps sell into the small rise. Oh well hopefully mores to come next week. Bring on COP26 and Skintrust marketing.

Same here Luke2 (sure you used a different moniker in those days, not meant negatively).

Did attend the AGM after they bought it and all was very positive, but we are almost 4 years on and annoyingly still to see any real value add to the SP for our holding. Hopefully it will garner attention after the Finance package for A1 is sorted.

True Soundbuy, but noting that batteries are a big component of the EV cost.

Not trying to put a downer on HZM as still hold all my shares, just trying to guage what is the best course for Vermelho in next few years. If you go the expensive route to supply theEV market, yes you can still supply SS as others have done to date. But it’s an expensive commitment and I really think it needs a large partner to push the project forward to maximise benefits.

Still a nice problem to have.

Lol, that graph on Nickel is scary in a nice way. But if I was and EV manufacturer I’d be seriously worried. Batteries costing 4-5 times what they do now. Try selling that cost mark up to EV buyers.

Still hopefully I’ve sold down the majority of my HZM holding for a huge mark up 2025.

Agree that energy storage is going to be big. But if you can store it via cheaper battery mixtures (assuming you don’t need to worry about energy density/land space).

Just worried about building a mine for a 30 yr mine life on expensive technology too late in the demand cycle.

Just been revisiting thoughts on if as Nickel price rises the pressure on EV batteries increases to keep the price in check. So think it will push alternative battery technology development faster and or greater use of existing cheaper alternative battery chemistry. As such, I wonder if our focus on Araguaia P1 & P2 means we are pushing Vermelho further out on the demand cycle.

If we want to progress Vermelho as an EV focused supply source then I believe we should be post Araguaia P1 finance be putting some real focus on getting on with the Vermelho development plan. I suppose that really means getting a major partner on board sooner rather than later. Let them take on the work and allow HZM to be the junior partner. Get the benefits without shifting too much of management time form Araguaia.

Got to say from a personal perspective, I’m very relieved. Hopefully not too long to get back over 30p and pushing on. (29p average, after recent top ups, so I would say that).
