probably caused by the usa involvement - any opportunity to hit a non usa company!!
the sfo should just close the case and allow everyone to move on !!!

there was a story some time ago when russia state officials allegedly , took a company seal when the company was raided.
after this there was a claim made to hmrc requesting a tax refund - which was paid and then if transpired it was not made by the company and the money had been transferred to another account and was lost.
the sfo should spend their time checking and validating any hmrc payment to foreign based companies rather than hamper british companies- the use of agents and paying commission only when deals are concluded it not illegal?!

Gov should reduce the sfo budget by a million on every case they do not close down or make a charge within 18 months of starting case
Should focus their management on Cutting out unacceptable delay and focus on productive activity
