I have been invested in companies with great positive news flow, won awards for best performer/innovation in the sector only to fold a month later.
I'm not a trader either held now for over 3 years and looking forward to the expected flow of news when ever it arrives......

Depends on your circumstances, I'd say a 100% uplift in 8 months is quite significant with more to come soon hopefully!
