Hi Steve - I wish! A friend of mine trades equity derivatives in Singapore, so has bloomberg access on his phone as well as at the office. I try not to take the p!ss by badgering him too much, but given the current share price movement (and constant rumours) I thought I'd ask. I should have asked him to screenshot the next 10 largest holdings though, as that's where the action seems to be!

A pal of mine managed to provide me with the current II shareholders list from Bloomberg the other day. For those interested, here it is below:

I was surprised to see Asteriscos at 17.75m. The last TR1 they issued (as at 27th Feb) showed a shareholding of 18,427,96, which means that they have reduced their holding by 700k over the past 6 weeks. Its the first time that I've seen them reduce their shareholding over the past 3 years (I may be wrong, but generally they always seem to be adding) and given the low current price of the stock, I decided to sell out completely. Now, before anyone jumps on me, I'm not saying that they are completely selling out or that they will continue to reduce their holding. I just found it strange that they continued to add during the recent takeover (at higher prices) and now have decided to to take some risk off at slightly lower prices. Who knows, could just be shenanigans, but thought I'd share it with the BB given that most of us don't have access to Bloomberg.

I don't think the 30 day rule applies when using the sale proceeds from a trading account to buy back into an ISA wrapper. Its only when you back back into a trading account, happy to hear other thoughts though!

I think the BODs motives are pretty clear, the statements from Daniel gave it away really. They didn't want to consider any other alternatives apart from fallback as it would have meant getting in to bed with shareholders. If they chose to engage large shareholders (like Daniel for example) they would have to potentially negotiate terms in order to seek their funding, for example lower salaries, larger redundancies, cheaper IT platforms etc. They don't want that and just want to milk this for the next 12 months after which they can move on. It was clear to me that this was the case when they kept mentioning that seeking a new scheme would require more money and that it would jeopardise the claimants pots as there was no other money available. When Daniel mentioned that he was happy to foot the legal expenses to explore this option, he also talked about why 6m was being spent for an IT system as well as the over-inflated salaries for what is essentially a start-up. They want to spend and do as they see fit and getting into bed with large PI shareholders doesn't allow them to do that.

TT let it go mate...everyone has a different way of dealing with losses. If ASAG think they have a case and are willing to put the money up for it, more power to them.

It does beggar belief that they are allowing to continue trading, maybe they want to keep it open for a potential takeover? Who knows really. Also, what happens to short positions when a stock is suspended?

I know that Pay isn't the most liquid or highly traded company, however, the volume for today is beyond pitiful!
