Looks like the U.K. embassy is ‘reaching out’ in Tehran “As Iran and 11 other countries in the region gear up to celebrate Nowruz, @UKinIran staff attended the @UNESCO Nowruz celebration, in Tehran. To quote one of the speakers ‘this ceremony, the first of it’s kind, will hopefully bring an international dimension to nowrouz’. https://twitter.com/UKinIran/status/1101209737356562433
Iranian Transport Minister Mohammad Eslami Appointed Siavash Amirmokri as the new head of Iran Airports Company, IRIB reported on Wednesday. Good spot Gibbo apologies for my oversight - the Iranian New Year falls on Thursday March 21 therefore the “end of the year” will be in March that coincides with the inauguration date already announced :-) This was announced “Dec. 18--TEHRAN, Iran -- The caretaker of Iran's Imam Khomeini Airport City Company said that a new terminal, with a capacity of five million passengers is ready to be opened, and expected to be operational by the end of this Iranian year [March 2019].” https://www.aviationpros.com/airports/news/12439182/irans-imam-khomeini-airport-ready-to-open-another-terminal Thes ema article states “We expect to use the Iranshahr Grand Terminal at Imam Khomeini Airport in the next five years," therefore the 100 million will follow later looks like
Ali Rostami, acting CEO of Imam Khomeini Airport city, said,” The Salam Terminal SALAM will become operational by the end of the year with the capacity to provide services to five million passengers.” Hence end of 2019 https://www.ikac.ir/corporate/en/News-and-Media/News/ID/200/Salam-Terminal-will-become-operational-by-the-end-of-the-year
I guess patience is needed (https://www.tehran-airport.com/): Terminal 1: Is the only terminal in operation and has a capacity to handle 6.5-7 million passengers and 120,000 tons of cargo per year. Currently handling 9 million passengers. Salam Terminal - Terminal 2: it is under construction and it’s planned to be completely finished by the end of 2018. (Picture: http://www.aliajgaran.com/UserPic/6afdc94a-1032-4a68-ba8e-75d23bad41bdSalam%20(1).pdf). The terminal, which has a design capacity of 4 million passengers a year. Iranshahr Terminal - Terminal 3: Is currently it is in a planning phase and is going to start to be built in about 2 years. The terminal will have the capacity to handle 25 million passengers a year on phase 1 completion https://www.meed.com/exclusive-iran-award-airport-scheme-early-2018/ Therefore based in current numbers revenues will be based on 13-15 million passengers a year (from terminal 1 and 2) whilst terminal 3 will add to this resulting in 38-40 million passengers a year. Iranshahr Terminal projected to become "Iran’s biggest airport terminal" with an annual capacity of 100 million passengers upon completion. https://www.en.eghtesadonline.com/Section-economy-4/28068-ikac-to-unveil-designs-for-iran-biggest-airport-terminal Therefore revenue growth can be phenomenal if all goes to plan. Add to this all the other airport expansion projects (especially domestic travel) i.e. Mashad, Isfahan and Shiraz http://www.airport-world.com/news/general-news/5418-vinci-airports-secures-contract-to-develop-two-iranian-airports.html

Tanzania controls the largest share of regional tourism revenue with $2.3 billion (Sh233.07 billion) receipts in 2017 and made clear its plan to invest heavily in upgrade and expansion of her major airports – including JNIA, Kilimanjaro International Airport and Songwe International Airport – in May 2015, citing an annual average growth of 20 per cent in passenger traffic https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/corporate/shipping/TZ-eyes-bigger-regional-airspace-with-modern-airport/4003122-4370722-15n052iz/index.html We may be on to a winner with potential to expand!!
“EU member country envoys discussed Iran Monday, but didn’t announce the SPV’s completion. France's foreign minister said on Wednesday that a European-backed system to facilitate non-dollar trade with Iran and circumvent US sanctions should be established in the coming days. https://www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/France-says-Iran-EU-trade-mechanism-should-be-established-in-coming-days-578384 European objections have forced the United States to backtrack on plans to stage a two-day conference in Poland focused on building a global coalition against Iran. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jan/23/us-backtracks-on-iran-focused-conference-in-poland-after-objections - so the EU has the ‘upper hand’ over the US? At least someone is putting up a fight Simon Laffin previously Director at Northern Rock says it all ......... another catastrophe waiting to happen at “connect airways” - sack em all.....
Those who have swallowed the 1p “acceptance” are delusional. The BOD will not get away with this - others have not - have they made the same mistakes general Electric made when they swallowed the energy division of the French multinational Alstom that resulted in a $772 million fine? https://www.counterpunch.org/2016/12/02/behind-ges-takeover-of-alstom-energy/ the battle is yet to begin .......
Interesting news despite all the noise of sanctions “foreign companies that do business in Iran are not prevented from competing for major infrastructure projects in the State of Israel” plus business as usual in Iran “The Israeli government’s answer has direct impact on CRRC, a state-owned Chinese corporation that is competing for the contract to supply the locomotives for the Jerusalem light rail. Last May, for example, CRRC signed a massive multi-billion dollar contract to construct 450 subway wagons for Iran” - if they can sign a multi-billion contract what stops us getting our multi-million contract?! https://www.jpost.com//Israel-News/Govt-document-Israel-okay-doing-business-with-companies-working-in-Iran-577389

Shaking off the weaklings and getting shares on the cheap could be the plan behind this triggering a hostile takeover at a later stage of the bid is rejected .......
Simply reject it!! The U.K. Takeover City Code comprises six general principles and 38 rules (as well as numerous notes which aid the interpretation of the rules). Its underlying objective can be summed up in three underlying principles: • all shareholders of the same class in a target company must be treated equally and must have adequate information so that they can reach a properly informed decision; • a false market must not be created in the securities of the offeror or the target company; and • the management of the target company must not take any action which would frustrate an offer without the consent of its shareholders. Therefore as shareholders we need to be consulted and the offer of £20million rejected!!!
