British embassy tweet “Pleased to have @SimonPenneyHMTC with us here in Iran, to reaffirm the UK’s commitment to expanding and supporting UK-Iran trade. @tradegovukMENA”
Looks like the U.K. embassy is ‘reaching out’ in Tehran
“As Iran and 11 other countries in the region gear up to celebrate Nowruz, @UKinIran staff attended the @UNESCO Nowruz celebration, in Tehran. To quote one of the speakers ‘this ceremony, the first of it’s kind, will hopefully bring an international dimension to nowrouz’.

Good spot Gibbo apologies for my oversight - the Iranian New Year falls on Thursday March 21 therefore the “end of the year” will be in March that coincides with the inauguration date already announced :-)
This was announced “Dec. 18--TEHRAN, Iran -- The caretaker of Iran's Imam Khomeini Airport City Company said that a new terminal, with a capacity of five million passengers is ready to be opened, and expected to be operational by the end of this Iranian year [March 2019].” https://www.aviationpros.com/airports/news/12439182/irans-imam-khomeini-airport-ready-to-open-another-terminal
Thes ema article states “We expect to use the Iranshahr Grand Terminal at Imam Khomeini Airport in the next five years," therefore the 100 million will follow later looks like
At least someone is putting up a fight
Simon Laffin previously Director at Northern Rock says it all ......... another catastrophe waiting to happen at “connect airways” - sack em all.....
Those who have swallowed the 1p “acceptance” are delusional. The BOD will not get away with this - others have not - have they made the same mistakes general Electric made when they swallowed the energy division of the French multinational Alstom that resulted in a $772 million fine? https://www.counterpunch.org/2016/12/02/behind-ges-takeover-of-alstom-energy/ the battle is yet to begin .......
Interesting news despite all the noise of sanctions “foreign companies that do business in Iran are not prevented from competing for major infrastructure projects in the State of Israel” plus business as usual in Iran “The Israeli government’s answer has direct impact on CRRC, a state-owned Chinese corporation that is competing for the contract to supply the locomotives for the Jerusalem light rail. Last May, for example, CRRC signed a massive multi-billion dollar contract to construct 450 subway wagons for Iran” - if they can sign a multi-billion contract what stops us getting our multi-million contract?! https://www.jpost.com//Israel-News/Govt-document-Israel-okay-doing-business-with-companies-working-in-Iran-577389
