Bought in on a high in August. Was getting worried but have just read the latest RNS and am reassured. Will have a go at averaging down when I have available funds. GLA and HNY

This was one of my first investments In April 23 after opening my broker account the previous month. With all my newbie enthusiasm, I threw all my available funds at the time (11K ish)at it. Not an amount I am keen to lose and I hope other investments will make up for it , but lesson learned! My condolences to others who will lose here and best of luck with other companies. GLA NTTL.

Have read again and realise I have misinterpreted somewhat. The 68p will be the total distributed per share including all the special dividends to date. So that means probably another 4p or so per share. Apologies if I have mislead anyone. GLA

From the RNS 24th October:

“That leaves the company with remaining net assets today of approximately £2.4 million and suggests 68p or more per share in total distributions may be made if the wind down continues undisturbed, plus, as the manager puts it 'potential for further upside gains'. That would be a reasonable outcome in the circumstances.”

Unless I have misunderstood something here, this looks like one amazing opportunity. I think I’ll be buying some more as soon as possible.

This is such a quiet board, but seems to be a great company. I bought and sold here earlier this year. Checked it recently and saw that it has just steadily climbed so I’m back in now.

I’m in! 18.9 K at 5:50. Hooray!

What are you paying? I’m not having any luck. I suspect I will struggle here. This is SETSQX and my broker only trades at the 10 minute auction times.

Stock exchange is showing 8.75 and googling and IBKR are showing 8.9. Anything over 8.7 means I am now in profit on this holding for the first time since September last year ( newbie enthusiasm bought in August September at high prices compared with more recent)

Many thanks to all who have replied to my question both here and in other threads. It really helps to know how more experienced investors/traders make their decisions. And that is the time, end August early September 23 when I first came across Panthera and bought 2/3rds of my current holding . Since then I have reduced as much as I could and my current average is 8.7 – so close now to breaking even!

Hi Pk, it’s a mystery to me. I have similar problems with my IBKR account as I have mentioned before. It is very frustrating having to continuously doublecheck everything before making any trading decisions.

Does anyone have a personal SP target which they are willing to share? My Panthera holding is the first I have with these sorts of expectations. If it comes to fruition, I will have to decide when to sell. my inclination is it may be best to sell A large chunk soon after SOC is announced. I wonder if others have plans?
