I have to say I argued the other way on solg and sort of got ridiculed for something that then went and happened and that was when their price was at a very low but it was known that solg would need an injection of funds I argued that if someone wanted into the project badly enough they would pay over the top..at the time if i can remember correctly i believe the price was around 3p and the funds were raised at about 6p

mike I agree and that is entirely possible but surely one has to agree that if say for example plucking a round figure the resource is worth 1 billion of which Assores stake is 30% and then more finance is needed to get to a saleable situation but the resource is still 1 billion then they would not necessarily pay over the odds for those extra shares unless of course they wanted to keep it in house to themselves and no one else to get their hands on a piece of the cake

Do not want to get into a protracted arguement about that one ATG but that does not really make sense to me..why would they pay higher if they did not need too and they were going to benefit from the resource..you either sell it on to someone else or buy it yourself at market value..so if say they have 30% share at the moment and increase that to 40 surely they would not want to pay over the top in any scenario

As i said the other day the main backers will be the biggest beneficiaries of what is in the ground so it will be in their interest to stake build economically which would mean dilution for us..of course we can buy more in the market if there is not a rights issue which i think is unlikely

If there was a real possibility of a t/o deal to be done I would really love to know what CH bottom price that he would put to shareholders..I personally do not blame him for the situation we are in although I appreciate there are many others that do but not going to argue the toss over that .. i think it is more circumstances and his hands being tied somewhat..anyway he will be all too aware of the many frustrations and am sure will want to be able to at least put some kind of proposal on the table albeit a t/o or j/v with cash to get the project up and running if the slovenians want that of course

I agree but you do have to look ahead with so many projects spinning and maybe that is what is happening here..there is a damned if you do and damned if you dont mentality here..I am in Sound and I do not believe there is another company on AIM that has been more open and communicative with their shareholders..the ceo although acknowledging the company had enough funds for current ongoing costs would not rule out another raise..well he has flagged it up so one has to expect that there is a chance they will want some more funds but there were some that were critical when apparently they were told they had enough but then came to the market for more but he was honest and said you can never have enough whereas VM has said IRR are well financed and do not need more for current programme so most shareholders are thinking another raise is not on the radar and they may well be right..just putting the interpretation of what ceos say in perspective although apologies if just rambling on

As I said not one particularly for conspiracy theories on what mms do and i do not believe this is mm related..shorting wise if you had some knowledge that a big raise was coming then yes sell ahead especially if you are going to be part of that raise..might sound a bit far fetched but i believe that is what happened with solgold..they released some good news with no sustained rise in the price..the price continued to stagnate and then there was persistent selling somewhat similar to here and then bang a big raise..not that unhappy if that is what it is as I believe as with solg IRR have got big plans and are going to need big money..just my thoughts tho

positive that Assore bought them but when a director is granted options at a good discount I personally do not think it sends out a good signal if you then go and flog them particularly as he raised 350k from the shares

If the sells continue and not many buys then i guess the price will carry on down past 21.5p..I hope not but we seem to be in a different place trading wise from a few months back..one thing i have noticed is the spread has certainly got narrower..also when the price moved before on buys or sells the sp would jump or fall quite quickly and although we have been in a downtrend for some time it has actually dribbled down relentlessly ..I know some on here have theories about mm trades and shorts but at the end of the day the price is going down because there are more sells than buys and some quite largish sells at that..you must be very confident to short a stock such as IRR when so much potential good news could drop at any time..I do not know the reason for the drop but the radio silence is deafening and almost been allowed to happen..I did have a top up around 35p albeit a small one as I was anticipating a fundraise which as it happens i was quite pleased that the major shareholders put their hands in their pockets without much of a discount if i remember correctly..the share sale by Crow was nothing to get excited about as Sum were happy to take them but the selling of their options at 22.5p although a good personal call did not send out a positive message although i have to admit I probably knew it at the time and subsequently forgot he had sold them
The fact they have sort of just drifted down would not necessarily indicate any problem but many of the rns , not that there have been many recently have been met with ambivalence ..is that because the market struggles to comprehend the relevance of each one as at one stage they seemed to flit from one project to the next..is there a need to just be a bit more specific when reporting..I guess time will tell but there does seem to be a negative lilt to the stock at the more and going to need something substantive to get us out of this rut

One thing is for sure and that is we will know fairly soon the outcome of the SR..I cannot believe for one moment that out of the 10 companies interested that none of them had any idea of the problems of dealing with the authorities in Slovenia so I think they will be going in with their eyes open..the chances are that some of these are possibly already operating in difficult jurisdictions and that is par for the course..I also think we will have an outcome on the IPPC shortly although I am not saying it will be positive but after all this time and making sure they have all the relevant requests and assurances from the operators that it will be hard not to see why the permit can now be granted.,.ps westie I am not sure the market is mistrustful of CH..there maybe people on here that have issues but I would say it is more the predicament the company finds itself in with all the red tape..ironically I have just started a planning application and the initial response on the timelines from the council were not encouraging lol and that is before they even look at the proposals

There were 4.5 million in sells by 5 past 8 yesterday so not sure where you get just 1 million in sells..or are you counting the ones in blue as well
