Picking this up under 20p is great value....just a question of how much of the portfolio to allocate. Think i paid 134 for diesel the other day....

Pl has talked about argentina being the right investment at the right time. Given todays news i think there are many out there who are worried it is the wrong country at the wrong time. Hence i think we could have a 50% risk discount that could hang around for a while yet. Overall i am positive bit it could be a bit bumpy....lets get drillin

I am with Tim ceo of weatherspoons on this one. Tax man is killing pubs, whilst adding to the social decline of this country. My views you should be allowed in pubs from 16 and able to get a lower alcohol drink. The country is awash with cheap class a drugs. Vastly restrict who can sell alcohol and tax the sale in supermarkets. Review the licensing laws all night drinking has not really worked. Ban bloody gambling adverts......telling people it is normal to spend twenty a day playing bingo.... I must be getting old

You would let the kitchen in Australia go on the backburner. Whilst telling all your mates what a great investment it has been (knowing the australia is basically the arse end of nowhere and no one will ever visit). Keep telling her indoors about other great holiday destinations that are closing and dont have twenty things that can kill the kids. Then with a bit of luck the the pound will cash on on brexit and you can ditch the whole thing to pay off a chuck of the mortgage, plus you wont even need to tell her as you'll never visit again. All of the time thanking your lucky stars you never invested in turkey.

I am not a chartist but there is a range so far in 2018. Seems to peak at 200p and then drop down to 150p the peaks and drops seem to happen pretty quickly. I have been surprised that it has dropped back to 150 ish given more deals etc. I expect the end of 2018 to be interesting could be 120p or back to 200p plus. Any other views???

Sept. Things will get interesting will be good to see the revenue reported then the drills. I see they are going after the ex president as the corruption investigation continues. Bbc quote £125m of cash being looked into, apparently the driver kept a notebook. Think i read that coffee harvest has been really good this year.

Pmo focus on debt reduction is a concern, get a feeling they will want to kick this into the long grass for a while yet. Can see the share price sliding back until we get firmer news.

DR thanks i will have a look through the annual accounts to see what i can find. I do have a small holding in rkh and you do wonder what the bod are doing for the cash they pick up. Anyway back to PPC i had a good read of some older RNS and the failure at PG was interesting. I know someone mentioned chinese equip. Failure. At some point the legals will be worked out. EV gas is a good opportunity if a market beyond own use can be found. Getting closer to my top up in PPC. I guess the question is how do you turn ppc in a company with a $2bn market cap???? Is it possible???

The market is hard to get your head around. I was at a theme park yesterday and when you start looking at the engineering of the rides then must be another market. It is pretty much everything with metal moving parts. Airbus and leo + oil and gas will be a great start. Automotive another market??? Does hdd year end in sept.?
