Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Looks like Bernie is ready to talk to the share holders, I have registered, can't wait to see what he has to say, good times ahead for Kodal.
Blatant Deramping!!!!
I use hargreaves lansdown, you pay once £ 10 for a trade and that's it, if you intend holding your shares its a cheap place to keep them long term
The next big step is deciding / negotiating what company the JV partner will be, they will be waiting in the wings now, BA will have been negotiating for months by now to get the best deal, let's see what he comes up with!!!
Over 11% up on the week, 50m bought vs 19m sold today, definitely FOMO Friday :-)
The admission of the 19m new shares to the market becomes effective on the 9th of November as detailed in the RNS this is before the mining conference starts, this definitely looks like ticking every box ready for the licence issue, Bernard will not know for sure but he will be talking to government officials and must have a good idea when it's going to happen and be working to a schedule clearing everything ready, tick, tick, :-)
MCAP was at 51m yesterday, it is back up at 58m now, good news has moved it up quickly.
This is a good RNS, confirms the Spod price calculations we are are now using and we are now 100% owners which allows full scope when negotiating with potential with JV partners, this has taken some time to arrange and finance as a deal in itself and put Kodal in a very strong position when the licence drops in, hopefully very soon by the looks of it now.
Google have the SP up 2.87%, I think LSE are lagging today.
There will certainly be a push from inside the government and outside to tie up loose ends to save embaressment at the conference, they will not want the big investors like ganfeng asking why they can not get their lithium when they are investing so much in Mali.
This could be a good sign, having a clear out!
Nice
I could not copy the link, This is some of the text from the link on reddit, it does not say much, it just says rio tinto have a massive shortfall and that Kodal could fill that gap, I'm not saying they have the JV deal, maybe they are just one of the potential JV partners knocking on the door and perhaps Ganfeng are not the only option.
Kodal Minerals
@KodalMinerals#KOD @RioTinto
highlighting a developing significant supply gap for lithium, warning the proposed Jadar mine will have minimal impact on closing the supply gap and pointing to economist predictions that 85% of the required demand will have to come from new projects #lithium#KOD
Had a look at tweets, found some interesting links on redit to twitter saying ther could be a JV with Rio Tinto on the horizon, that's a new name in the mix, Ganfeng was always the number one contender because they are strong in the region but the truth is there are lots of JV contenders that will be bidding when the licence is issued, It will be interesting to see which one comes up with the best deal :-).
I'm OK with the wait, I have said it before, massive potential not only with the lithium which will come "when" the licence is issued but with the gold concessions which will have maiden gold early next year as stated in the AGM, this a waiting game, it will pay off for those who stay with it and hold the shares, if you don't believe in KOD that is a personal choice, do your own research, make your own choice.
The details are on the kodal website, they own the land with a 2% royalty payment when production starts from what I can see, there is also some payments go to the government on the start of production so everyone involved really benefits from the issue of the licence, there is no reason it should not be issued, its it matter "when" it's going to be issued not "if" its going to be issued.
As stated in the AGM Kodal is based in a very stable area of Mali supported by government and international security forces (including british), solid gold results from 2 gold concessions, licence in final sign off stage for lithium, JV partners knocking at the door for when the licence is signed, now is the time to top up when the SP is low, it will not stay this way for long.
Time to top up while it's low
The gold concessions are certainly promising, fatou and Nielle already showing excellent results and Bernie has already said that he is very interested in Dabakala which he has high hopes for, the other gold concessions have potential, just need the lithium licence now and the sp will fly.
Kodal is in the global top 15 at 1.1% which is well within the required grade for lithium battery production, bougouni spod will be 6% which at today's prices will be massive in terms of profit and in turn payback for shareholders, if prem have a higher li20 % good luck to them, I hope they have a good spod % to match.
