There are many comments about investors selling and the SP falling, correct me if I'm wrong but this week most days there have been more buys than sells, Friday had over 300m buys to just over 150k sells, and the SP has fallen overall this week, its not a case of investors selling, Perhaps MMs playing games, I'm a LTH with an average of 0.22 and like many others watched the rise to 0.88 and back down, I held waiting for the cash to land in the bank but now it looks like we will have some key events to drive the SP up, licence transfer, plant building, plant completion, maiden gold, first lithium production, there will be good news coming out of Kodal that will be unrivaled by anything else on AIM over the next 12 months in my opinion, that is why I will still be holding and if I get any funds available at this price I will be buying more like it seems many investors still are.
Loads of info in this RNS, picking out a few highlights, Debt free, looking to move from explorer to producer in the very near future, finance finalising in weeks so it looks like this is the last longstop, great to get some info on the gold, budget set for major exploration on Nielle,Fatou and Dabakala with the initial aim for maiden gold on Nielle and significant new gold resources on all 3, lots going on over the next few months, loads of news coming, hold onto your hats folks, it's going to fly when it starts.
It will not stay low for long when investors digest this RNS and work out that confirmation of the Hainan money coming through will be sometime in September, I thought that I had my quota of Kodal shares but at this price I can not resist topping up this morning, exiting times ahead.
RNS says majority of items are now complete, this means that we are now very close, I doubt it will make it to the end of September before we see the RNS we have been waiting for, and no more extensions, Hainan are complete and waiting, it looks like Kodal are just finishing off, I'm very optimistic for seeing this done in the next few weeks.
This statement is on the firefinch latest quarterly activities report, looks like firefinch could be returning a substantial sum of money and shares to Leo Litium share holders, £34.6m cash and £258m in shares.
If it becomes apparent that there are no reasonable prospects of a successful transaction within a suitable timeframe, then the Company will terminate the Process and look to return a majority of its current cash to FFX shareholders as soon as possible thereafter. Currently, these steps relate primarily to the process to obtain a class ruling from the Australian Taxation Office as to the tax treatment on the return of Assets. Following the return of majority of the current cash to shareholders FFX will then distribute all Leo Lithium Limited shares currently held to FFX shareholders when they are released from the escrow in June 2024 as per ASX regulations.
I would love to see this do 1p next week but the reality is that this probably going to drift between the mid .50s and .60s until the end of next month when there will be a rally towards month end when news is due as per the RNS, we will see then what happens if the news comes as we are all hoping it does, Kodal is in a solid position with everything dropping into place, be patient but there are one or two rampers and derampers on here playing games, there is also some good solid information from good sources, best to do your own research though, those of us holding shares for a couple of years now have seen the reality of the Kod story and know that another 6 weeks is not long to wait.
I think many on this board have short memories, it was not long ago that I was very happy with doubling my money when the SP passed 0.5, and yes given the recent decline from the highs of 0.9 it has attracted a lot of negative comments from some investors and some who are not invested but the plan and the fundimentals have not changed, this just takes time and I'm still very happy with my investment in Kodal, The current SP is not really an issue for me, I'm still in profit like many on the board, I can only see this going one way medium and long term, 1p to 1.5p on finance news, 2p to 3p on production, if gold comes in it will be higher, GLA, DYOR
I have been on Kodal since 2021 and seen the ups and downs, I read this board most days and have posted before, a while ago!, some great info and banter from the regulars, I have always been very confident in BA and his team pushing this through, the fundimentals in my opinion have never changed from BA's master plan, perhaps the extraction method (equipment) was changed to speed up the timelines but that looks like it will be added to later, we are in the home straight now, a couple of weeks away from money in the bank for full finance then on to construction for extraction, anyone getting out now must be mad, My average is 0.25 so sitting on a nice profit now but hoping to see around 1.5 when the £100m hits the bank, think 2+ on completion of the plant then sky is the limit when production starts and we see some gold results coming in, I might be a bit optimistic but I believe Kodal is going to deliver big results, as always DYOR, good luck all.
I think your right, the appointment of a broker looks like kod are leaning towards a JV and I can not really see any negative with this RNS other than a short delay into the new year, they have confirmed that progress is not affected by the freeze on permits that will be stopping new applicants and new appointments to the board that is a return not new should not be a surprise really as the as the business is possibly going into the next phase early next year as stated in the RNS, I'm a long term holder and a couple more months will not be an issue for me, If it drops abit more I will be buying some more.
Some good info, clearly says FS will be finalised in the next few weeks, news before end of May perhaps earlier, also good to hear bulk of money raised is going on Lithium but they are not forgetting about the Gold, that is one for the future for Kodal and as Bernie says it will add value for the shareholders.
Rns on the 8th of November said 6 months for compltion of the FS is that not the 8th of May or earlier as Bernie said in the Q & A or am I missing something?, should we not expect an Rns then or earlier?
The FS is about 8 or 9 weeks away from being completed according to the RNS on 8th of November, it stated a 6 month scope of works from then, I raised the question on the Q & A session on the 16th of December asking if it could be done earlier and Bernie said it was possible that it could be completed early, hopefully we could see it soon, this would certainly see some real value put into Kodal but to be honest I would be happy to wait for the full package to be put together ready for the best JV deal rather than it being rushed.
The fundimentals for Kodal have not changed from last week we are still in a very strong position looking forward to good news in the near future with the FS being published in 6 to 8 weeks time which should have news of a JV following very soon after, this is a position that I'm personally happy to hold for, it's not far away now, yes the RNS could have been a bit better but it did have some positive info on gold which is always one for the future and will help finances at some point, it looks like we are in a better position than Prem after all the hype they lost 30% yesterday, hopefully some of the profit people took will come into Kodal.
This for me is a key part of the RNS, they clearly state that the program of work is continuing, it means that they are still working on the operating cost and optimisation of the plant which is ultimatly the end goal which gives use the profitabilty, it also states that this is going to be completed ahead of securing funding for development and construction so no cheap deal has been done, when this step is complete we will have a clear picture af where we stand and Kodal will the be in a position to make a deal with JV partner :-Kodal has previously announced an engineering work programme to provide an update on the capital cost estimate for the development of the Project and complete a detailed assessment to confirm the operating costs of the Project, including the review of the proposed transport costs (details of which were previously announced on 27 January 2020), ahead of securing funding for mine development and construction. This programme of work is continuing with a focus on the process plant design and capital cost estimate, improvements in metallurgical recovery and an update of the open pit optimisation of the defined minerals resources.

Ganfeng will be looking for more lithium prospects now, they have lost control of bacanora after taking them over the Mexican government are not letting them start production, they are revoking all permits.content://media/external/downloads/4627
Will definitely be FOMO Friday today !!!

Uk,s first gigaplant has full funding, the push has started for building the factories in the uk now, the demand for the lithium will only grow more once these plants are up and running.
Good presentation by bernie, fundimentals have not changed, strong interest from investors but he does say they have considered going alone, he also said we might get the full feasibility study earlier than the planned 6 months, the construction costs will be available for end of January, bernie seemed very relaxed and positive, he does need to be careful what he discloses in terms of investors but with lots of interested parties I guess he can choose which one is best for Kodal, I think he is being very Conservative in terms of timescales when it comes to construction of extraction, processing plant and equipment, if a large investor gets on board they will throw resources behind getting the mine running before the end of 2023.

Any information he can give on any timescales would be good, in particular if the feasibility study will be fully completed before the 6 months he initially stated or could it be sooner, Also I'm guessing he will not give any clue who is the favourite for a JV or if a JV is the route Kodal will take but the question is worth asking, some info on potential for maiden gold in January would be good, he did say in the AGM that it would happen is this still on course???, I'm sure there is lots more to ask, just a few starters.
