Cornishknocker, I did think you were that ex miner. Nobody asked me if I was you though. I was talking to the lady there. I did ask about the tailings dams at Wheal Maid as in a post I did a while back I saw activity there. She said I was the second person to ask and it’s nothing to do with CM.

Marc2, thanks for going into more detail than me, my wife grabbed me as we were running late for the cinema.
What really struck me was the way they will deal with the environmental concerns that a lot of people may have when the mine is up and running. The dewatering was of interest to me ( growing up as a kid swimming in the mud discharges at Godrevy from the Red River was always fun ). By filtering and using an adit running out to the North Cliffs, people won’t even realise the mine will be draining. Re using tailings mixed with concrete to shore up and back fill the mine was also a clever way to minimise impact as well. With the areas they are testing ( or want to test ) and the quality of the ore ( one sample I was shown was 34% tin ) I believe this company has a very bright future.
……oh, and if you’re local, I saw a familiar face who I didn’t know worked for CM. I have a sneaking suspicion that he may have been Cornishknocker, but who knows!

Popped in to have a look around at the small exhibition they had there. Couldn’t stay to long as both the wife and dog were uninterested. Good things ahead I feel!

I think we can all agree that this share has definitely not gone the way of the dodo yet. It still lives with no activity on my share screen, and if it had gone the way of a Norwegian Blue we definitely would have known by now.
Hopefully it returns sooner rather than later, I feel that it could represent an interesting share to own ( and it’s definitely been interesting so far )!

Good for you ( and possibly us ), whilst lurking for a while I have enjoyed your insights. I feel there are great days ahead now, and can’t wait to see the mine get back into action ( and neither can the people of the Camborne/Redruth area ).

After my mini wobble about buying more the other day, I’m glad I did. Every time I visit the recycling centre at Pool I’ll keep a keen eye on what is happening on the land behind Crofty. For anyone local that is interested, it is the best spot to see whatever progress will be going on around the mine.

I did yesterday, have a bonus from work landing next week, hopefully it is still below 20p.

I’ve sold another share to fund a buy here now. Thanks for the opinions guys, maybe by Friday I’ll know if that was the right thing to do. I expect it was as for me ( and a lot of you ) this is a long term hold.

I’ve just had a minor case of the jitters, not sure why! Think I will top up over the next day or so, just needed another opinion.

I’m tempted at this price to get more, but am also wary of what will happen re the meeting on Thursday. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this at the moment? Buy now or wait until Friday?

I’m definitely a long term holder of this share as well. I may ( depending on price ) top up when paid at the end of the week. A week after the vote I’ll have a bonus land, and again, depending on the price it may find itself buying a few thousand more shares.

In regards to the latest RNS, what’s your opinion on what to do? I have some cash ready to top up, but think with another cash raising exercise that we have to vote on , is it worth waiting for another dip in the price?

I’m staying, I’ve felt I’ve lost the money anyway, so if a realist happens then it’ll be fun to see what happens.

Will have to look into this expo as I’m in work late on Friday.

If I wasn’t having so much fun on the downhill trails I should have really stopped and asked shouldn’t have I? It’s a regular haunt ( I used to live in Carharrack and now back in Pool ) so if I see them again I’ll ask.

I’ve been invested here for a while and this morning whilst I was on my mountain bike I noticed something interesting. There was a surveying team on the tailing dams below Wheal Maid/Goongumpus.
Is this the start of something that should see our trust in the company come true?
