No point in worrying about what has gone on in the past in my opinion - albeit with the caveat the communication of the issues could and should have been much better, which has been acknowledged.

Looking forward they will have more focus on project risk and contingency planning. Having listened to the analysts interviews a couple of times it is clear they are are also being more conservative with timelines for project execution and production numbers.

Some good interventions by the FD when looking at capex and how it is going to be funded as all seems to be in place without dilution.

Clear plans in place from what we have been told and major boosts in production over the next 24 month period! Good news for my son who will turn 18 at hopefully the right time to access his Jubilee shares in his junior ISA (although he does insist he will be buying a car).

Good point on the Zambian political situation.

Two other points I would add is the relatively low capex requirement and also the positive environmental impact of JLP operations on the local area.

Rhodium is an important component of the basket price so would be much better if it increases in value needless to say.

It represents a higher proportion of the PGM basket in the eastern limb.

Good to see Ollie acknowledging the issues. Key takeaway is there are no issues with the processing techniques - they work! Now the power and water issues have been addressed we should see decent upward growth from here!

Just sitting back and letting this play out.

We know where the destination will be and short term disruptions are fodder for the keyboard warriors as opposed to the investors in JLP.

Appreciate there have been some bumps but happy with my investment. Added a few more yesterday as I believe the newsflow will come thick and fast from now on and map out the medium term plan for Jubilee.

Each to their own but can't help thinking those who constantly talk a share down have other agendas!

Traceable cobalt back to source will become more attractive I would think. Should provide scope for long term supply agreements or a premium to general market conditions.

There has been much talk about how the north will be funded. A long term cobalt supply agreement with a major battery manufacturer or automotive OEM could be one route!

Summit, I appreciate people have different priorities but I would rather the profit is re-invested in growth rather than paying out a dividend.

So much of the market to go at in Zambia alone let alone looking onto other countries! The dividend will come in time and if its something you need in the shorter term then there are other companies you could invest in.

Am with you on that Happydays. My consolation is that each day we wait is another day when we are processing more material.
My hope is that the operational update will include something seismic in Zambia regarding future developments.

Jonah, I have given up on guessing what drives the market day to day so I tend to focus on the longer term perspective.

My only thought is that copper has been edging up over a period of time whereas our SP has risen a lot in a short space of time, which could indicate a leak of information. All speculation however and time will tell.

Anyone who knows exactly how the market works wouldn't be on this BB - rather somewhere warm on a large boat drinking a ****tail or two

I think Leon was quite clear on the impact in the last operational update that the target remained 10k in this financial year but that H1 would be lower than H2. It actually gave me more comfort that Sable is capable than the previous run rate.
I may be corrected in the January numbers but a reduced H1 was already publicised based on the water issues.
Would be good to hear if they have a rail route to Sable established as well as this should further bring down operational costs.

No reason JLP can't get a similar tie-in - plenty of global manufacturers with the same requirements. Also worth considering that we are not a start up and have proven the techniques at scale!

Good to have a degree of clarity on the progress of cobalt but think it is clear there have been some delays in the implementation of the cobalt circuit.

I do think that some of their releases need reviewing for clarity! 45% margin - is that on the copper - does that include the Cobalt by-product and what copper price is this based on?

If I have understood this correctly the original assumptions around the $4.5k cost to produce the copper still hold despite the Cobalt by-product and acid leach savings.

Progress undoubtedly but the clarity of communications need a big overhaul here so investors can get a clear picture of what is being delivered and when it can be expected.

I am still have very high hopes for Jubilee nothwithstanding my concerns identified above.

It would be they are underplaying the throughput.

By my maths - they have said they will do 3k in 1H and hit a target of 10k copper for the full year so 7k in H2 or 14k tpa annualised. I also think they are doing the same with Inyoni based on what has been said about monthly production but will need to wait for the numbers for confirmation either way.
