The question is what are President Energy(the oil and gas part) intending to do in the next year to boost Shareholder value?
Is a change in strategy required, if so what are President going to do to achieve this?

and the prospects for the next few months apart from the quietness on the news front which could be taken both ways i.e. good or bad news I cannot honestly understand why there has been this drop in the share price. Will be interesting to hear what the company have to say later this week.

Falcon Oil and Gas will only be looking at a sale at the earliest in 2024. The timelines seem to.be slipping to me and they don't get appear to have got to the stage of getting consistent results that will allow them to get the higher value on sale - hence the stretched timescales.
I'm also.a bit concerned they seem.to be spending so much time still and presumably money in what is considered as a failed well. I suppose time will tell but I did hope they would make better progress with more news flow.

for Aminex. Or will it just be a bid by ARA to take SCIRs 25% and therefore it will rule Wentworth out of bidding for the company. Seems a little odd to me that this should come about now - if they were up for sale you would have thought SCIR would have gone to ARA first because of the clause in any potential sale of the asset.

I keep hoping that we will get some exciting news to help things either before it at the AGM but feel it will just be snippets of news to keep investors happy. I keep wondering too what Trafigura must be thinking of their investment and how they see the company progressing to the next level.

As far as I can see the news about March production was on April 8th.
So presumably that is news tomorrow maybe, or certainly quite soon.

Maybe people are selling to take a stake in more near term prospects.
I suppose that's the thing missing at the moment with Atome - also if they could broker a few more deals that would help I think imho.

Silence is certainly not golden at the moment - again just got to wait and see what the next 6 months brings but the company don't appear to be generating a lot that is exciting the market at the moment.

what a waste of everyone's time!
Just a little calculation.from me 're the potential of the drilling here.
Assume at the end of next year there have been 3 wells drilled this year and 10 next.
Assume each of the 13 wells is producing day 1500 bopd.
Say the price of oil is about 88 dollars.
Then a year's production of these wells will be
88 x 13 x1500 x 365 = 626,340,000
and this doesn't include the non-op assets.

I agree to some extent comeonvog what I find really frustrating though is that with.all the knowledge and experience PL has and with a member of Trafigura on the board that they haven't stepped things up 2 or 3 gears on the oil and gas front.
Maybe I'm expecting too much and this is all they can deliver at the moment.
I also found it very deflating that for some time OK has argued that they had definitely found the right place to drill in Paraguay at the moment, only to then find out the chance of success was 17% from.what PL has said I was expecting at least 50%.
Ah well, life is full of surprises maybe we will get some pleasant ones in the next six months. I certainly hope so.
Just one other thing I was pondering and I know they've said no to this in the past but do people think.now is the right time for a consolidation?

has to offer at the AGM. He always talks the company up and is good at persuading people his next venture is going to be a success but the sp speaks for itsle at the moment and I would truly like to see some fresh ideas that will drive the company and hence the sp forward. I'm hoping by year end there will be some progress but he hasn't really dramatically transformed the company. It's been more of a case of slow and steady for a number of years now whilst the sp remains at these low values and a lot of dilution to get us to this point too.
Here's hoping the next six months to a year will show a marked improvement but imho - something has definitely got to change.

Yes, it's a tricky climate - if there was more certainty in the market I think lots of shares would do a lot better and reflect their company's true value. Here's hoping we have a return to how markets operate and our investments receive the rewards they deserve,
