Pleased to hear that Breton59 - I think one big thing I take from your post is that research and seeking out good opportunities can still with a bit(sometimes a lot) of luck reap it's rewards. Hi LosingLess, Not exactly sure what wireless standards they use but I'm pretty sure they've passed the European and USA Standards for the product. I too wish they could sell some of the IP into the Consumer wearable market but I'm not sure how much of a cross over there is in the 2 markets. A few thoughts I've had recently is because of the lack of findings from the 2 NHS and the other one they don't appear to want to name the decision to cut funding for further development of Sensium about 6 months ago was a wise one. Secondly before not too long we should get a good idea of how the company has performed in the first 6 months and after the end of the year how much Google cast has started to bring in - good market for large sales at Christmas time most likely.The last thing is that report due out shortly should soon be announced - re Sensium and how to proceed, so we will then know where we stand. Hi Breton59, Hope your luck changes and things start to turn around before not too long. Not sure what's happening with the banks - ironically probably a good time to invest in them but you've probably got a lot invested already so hope there is a recovery before not too long. In terms of builders I thought there were homes that needed building and often that industry has been the start of seeing economies pulling out of recession so I hope Building starts to pick up soon. It's very difficult with the general malaise and uncertainty - lets hope a new government can start to make some good decisions for the economy going forward. GLA

I'm going to give Toumaz another 1-2 years and then see where we are, The main things that keeps me interested in them is the quality of the Board members and the companies that they might end up dealing with. I did think what you are saying might be the case - but I would have at least expected a response saying that they thanked me for my interest and that they could not comment until the next RNS, or something similar. It's the lack of any response that has left me somewhat bemused. GLA

Has anyone on this board tried to use the Toumaz Contact facility on their website? In the past when I've used it they've been very good at getting back to me. Over the space of a month I've sent three messages and not have anyone reply to any of them. None of them have been re price sensitive questions. Has anyone had a reply from them recently. It's a bit of a catch 22 really as I cannot contact them to ask why they haven't replied to my contact form questions! GLA

Many thanks for the post. Not sure about the big gap and price target but Toumaz do appear to still be getting great reviews for the products their hardware is in and are selling into growing markets. Also we have the Sensium Vitals report soon(before the middle of the year whenever that is??!!) and they seem to be picking up in terms of shares bought and the price has gone up at the end of last week having drifted down for a while, so maybe we've turned a corner? Some quite decent buys going through this morning - not far off a million shares traded. It looks like some buyers are seeing the share as being of interest at these prices. Let's hope for news soon. I've contacted Toumaz asking if we might hear something in the next month but as of yet no reply. GLA

In the next few days should have an update on progress in Argentina(on or before the AGM). I also wonder if we will get any indication on plans re Paraguay and any partners for work to be carried out yesterday. Hopefully whatever is happening in Argentina will result in a nice addition to the bottom line. GLA

I wonder when the "middle of the year report" that the independent third party looking into Sensium will be published. I did think, some time ago that they would have ample time to consider the results of the two trials currently underway but as of yet there has been no signs of published results. What with the adoption of tech gadgets to assist the measurement of early signs apparently starting to happen next year and no published results this year any report now would seem to fall into no mans land. Having said that if this company, whoever they are have had all this time to look in depth at the possibilities for Sensium I hope they can see a fruitful way forward can be found - especially since so much development work has been done and money put into it's R and D. Yes it would be good if some of Thomas's vital signs were improving. Just cannot see how they can get the trial findings available - the hospital's involved seem to be taking an age and Toumaz are only very vague about it in there pronouncements. I will give it another year but I'm expecting improvement in the patient and more news flow! GLA

Found this article that was actually published a little over a year ago and relates to a small trial of the Sensiumvitals patch. http://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/5/5/e006606.full It's very interesting and the conclusion towards the end of the article reads :- Wireless technologies for measurement of vital signs, such as the one used in this study, have now developed to the point where they have the potential to make a substantial contribution to patient safety. Evaluation of end-to-end system performance within the hospital environment will provide further information on the clinical value and acceptance of the wireless monitoring system in routine practice as part of a wider system to augment and support existing clinical protocols and workflows. The key phrase I homed in on was substantial contribution to patient safety - I'm assuming the current trails are carrying out the routine practice as a part of a wider system..... Hope we get new soon. It also made me wonder if the announcement of the future of the Sensiumvitals product within Toumaz is reliant on the trials finishing first. I would expect so - as otherwise I suppose you can argue their(group carrying out the study as to the future of Sensiumvitals) findings are not fully informed. Anyway hopefully not too long to wait now...

Yes, I very much agree - if they can start getting their chips included with other manufacturers and ship in volume in the future I think there could be a step up in revenues and who knows who they might form a JV with in the future. I hope for this reason the investor who is going to give it another month might consider a longer timescale - 6 months - though he does sound quite like he's had enough of the jam tomorrow from Toumaz. Having said that it is hugely frustrating waiting for some movement on the SV front - I cannot get my head around why these trials take such a long, long time. My fear here is mass adoption isn't happening. What would hopefully turn this around would be good published results from those who are currently trialling and a much wider roll out. News from Toumaz sometimes seems little and far between... GLA

There has been quite a bit of news re Argentina - team building and pushing things forward for this year with existing work overs and drilling plans for the second half of the year. There has however, been little mention of Paraguay for some time. I appreciate the time scales have moved to next year but following last years optimism it seems to have gone all quiet. If anyone is attending the AGM could they possibly ask if there is likely to be any activity in Paraguay this year or is it all pencilled in for next year. GLA

I think if they can stick with their current strategy and slowly build traction with Sensium in the background then this company can build on and become an excellent business. The potential is obviously there - it's just how long it takes that is the question. If the Sensium product starts to gain momentum though I think we are on to a real winner. I notice from the Toumaz tweeted news today that Sensium has been shortlisted for an award for Best Emerging Technology by the patientsafetycongress.co.uk. I think the product is still ahead of the game - lets hope we get the thumbs up from the Hospitals trialling it and a positive decision from the working party who are looking at the best way to take the product forward.
