Very encouraging - don't have the money to invest in my ISA and by April next year possibly this share might be in the late teens or early 20's? I very much liked PLs recent interview with Malcy - it was as if PL had a number of options in mind re acquisitions and it was just a matter of deciding which one(s) to go for to add to production. However, he always strikes me as a combination of someone who is both quite cautious but at the same time knows exactly what he wants. Fingers crossed he gets it right and we start to grow. Hi Brasso3, Apologies - hadn't realised on the RNS that related to Louisiana it was a figure for group production. So my calcs below would have to change. However, no one has come back to say how value of a company might be calculated and what a valuation based on 10000 bopd might be - approx 10 * 6p? Would be interested to know what people think. Hi Brasso3 No I don't smoke lol I thought there was an RNS on 19/04/2017 saying a recent acquisition lifted Louisiana production to 1100 boepd I also said Argentina production was 800 good. My 10000 bopd was based on PL saying this is what it could be by end of 2018! So to be honest I think you've got the Louisiana production wrong. All the best, Northern

the valuation of a company comes from? For example for President Production Argentina + Production Louisiana = 800 + 1100 = 1900 Current value of company = £59,600,000 Current sp = 6.5p If production expected to be at 10,000 by end of 2018 then what might the value of the company be. 10000/1900 = 5.26315 times current production. So, could the value be 5.26315 times the current sp? This would give an sp of 6.5 x 5.26315 = 34.21 How are valuations worked out? All the best, Northern

It appears with a bit of luck this company might do well in the future. Last year to have such problems with what sounded a potentially excellent well was a bit of a disaster. This year I think it is getting back more to what PL is looking for - sustainable and increasing production from both Argentina and Louisiana and in the background someone to work with(and presumably supply the capital for) the drilling in Paraguay. I assume getting the right partner for Paraguay will be the key thing. Again not sure of time scales here but I think we are talking 2017-28 will show a turn around for the company. Comments re President and the aim of Peter Levine to get the value of the SP back to President's glory days of around 50p. That would be fantastic given its current SP of about 6.75! All the best, Northern

Hi Pugsby, Why are people selling? Not sure as with lots of things I think it's whether you believe in the company and whether you think there are better returns elsewhere. Personally I think this is a unique company with award winning expertise and excellent management. They also have had a number of design wins recently and hopefully lots more to come. In their recent trading update it looks like products that include their hardware and software are sellinng well. One thing that mean unknown but exciting is they are open to forming partnerships​ with the majour technology partners. In short though you pays your money and takes your choice. to understand with this share is the model they use sounds like a great idea. You would think with them now increasing participation in more wells AND the oil price increasing and stabilising that they would be starting to add a lot more revenue and that the sp would have started to climb just as it fell when the reverse was the case. Great shame they cannot have a larger participation rate in some of the wells they are now participating in. They could then feedback the revenue into more wells and therefore more revenue. Will be interesting to see what their next financial statement looks like. Northern

sp should have dipped today. Workovers are still on track and PL and team are taking action to try to recover some of the money which otherwise would have resulted in a fantastic well for the company. Maybe just a few sells going through has caused the sp tp dip? Northern

I agree but in time it will all start adding in to the mix, revenue profit and hopefully expansion into other large markets. All the best, Northern

He's really trying to get the positive message across re the Argentine assets. GLAH

they are now starting to announce the design wins but no one seems to be buying into the story at the moment. Maybe they just need to keep getting the wins and adding to the bottom line - will be good to see them get some further major wins with the big players - after all they are in nearly all award winning DAB radios and seem to produce high quality products. GLAH

going forward in my opinion. I've been thinking about this over the weekend and if they can branch into different markets and keep getting design wins then this could be a great way forward - reflect in the income and profit. The key thing is more and more design wins prduct development and keep the cycle going. I think this will only be reflected in the sp when we have that step up in revenues. GLAH

Looked on the stock exchange web site but couldn't see the RNS but viewed it on the Frontier website. Three design wins which is great but we were promised several in the coming months last September so I assume there are more to come. Good to see the SP moving again I just hope they can target some growing markets now including the automotive. GLAH
