The reason it dropped over 70% is because they were banking on Motif to get positive results today. They own 8% of Motif. Everything was resting on the results. They had £10m of Motif yesterday. Now worth £2.5m. That’s why they dropped. They have over £20m of debt which was secured partly by the Motif shares. They were already in a precarious position before today. Like I said if they sold every investment at current value they would still be negative £13m. They don’t need to say why it dropped
Lol. They owe over £20million.
If AMP sold all of its investments today at current prices it would have at rough figures Negative £13m.
No amp owes around £25m. Secured with yesterday £10m worth of Motif Shares. Ow worth £2.5m
So if Motif hits 32p. How much are AMPs investments worth.
I’ve quoted the full accounts. And values of our holdings. Unlike yourself who’s only quoted the usual boom crap. I did say that I’ve made most of my money on bounces like this, usually also like I’ve said were not rational to true value. Like this one. I’ve made cash on buying Motif at 5 and selling at 9. 20mins later I could have got 12. But that’s life. Still holding my free amp shares. Your an analyst. What price does motif need to reach before we break even.
What’s your selling price Gilo ?
I happy with a small profit. How you doing
What’s the current value of AMP. Gilo ? It’s NAV.
Don’t be left holding the baby. Think most of us have made some decent cash today on the bounce.
That’s around 1.2% of AMP.
Yes. Amp had the leverage initially if it were to multibag Now Motif is in the far better position as Amp must be in dire straits now.
It’s all down to Motif once again. Amps £20m plus debts were secured with £10m worth of Motif shares. This morning their Motif shares are worth around £1m.
Naked says to sell. At this time if people want to catch the bounce they might make a few quid by buying and trying to get out with a. Small profit. I’ve made most of my profits from the ones that open with huge drops. It might be the case with this. But now the fundamentals as a rational investment are long gone. It’s obly for a short term gamble. Good luck
I can’t see how this could ever recover. It’s main asset being Motif. They already have £20m plus debt which they can’t service and they have just reduced their assets by over £9m this morning
Gilo. Are you just buying for the dead cat bounce ?
I thought I had done the wrong thing selling most in the 1.8s thinking this was a done deal. Feel for the lth.
Using a 90% probability of approval and a 15% discount rate leads to a net present value for iclaprim in ABSSSI of $475 million. After factoring in the company’s cash position, potential cash from the exercise of outstanding warrants, estimated capital requirements, and dividing by the fully diluted ADS share count of 17.0 million leads to a valuation of $28 per share. The stock continues to trade at a significant discount to our valuation, thus offering investors plenty of upside at the current price. That’s almost 3 times what it’s currently trading at.
