What do you guys know about the investor S P Jones?

My thoughts……….I don’t know anything about Stephen Paul Jones but he has a circa 10% £500k stake in the game. I am presuming he does not want to wipe his nose with that.
The Edwards have been quite successful for themselves and their shareholders, but I do not know if they are still holding after they went sub 3%.
I am hoping that SPJ has something up his sleeve and pulls it out of the bag before the April date.
If not, the share will be suspended.
That does not mean it is a lost cause, it just means you aren’t seeing your stake for a while.
The hope would then be that the share was re-listed as an all singing all dancing rocket ship and the existing holders would be there for lift off.
I invested here as a punt…….and whilst I don’t want to lose my stake….I think I’ll be leaving it on the table.
A clear lesson in not investing more than you can afford to lose.

We will be suspended from Tuesday 6th April 2021 as this is six months following the disposal of the trading business and becoming a cash shell under AIM Rule 15. If we announced a proposed transaction prior to this date, the suspension would be immediate.

AIM Rule 14 requires shareholder approval of any proposed deal and we have a further six months to seek this.

We are working closely with the Exchange and our NOMAD - all price sensitive information has and will be published on RNS at the appropriate time. It is not in the spirit of the regulator to release constant news flow as this is deemed to be potentially misleading.

For comfort, please be assured that we are aware of the timelines and the Company’s situation.

In my humble opinion this is only a short delay for the investor.

When the share price goes north, these frustrations will be a distant memory.

Traders and short term holder will view this differently. If this is your MO, fair play.

Should investors wish to give their profits to them, that is their choice.

I suggest the investors amongst us hold hard and fast.

There is more to this holding than the results of a court case.

Just a thought.........have a look at tin (as in the metal). You may be surprised at what you find out.

My opinion, and WTFDIK, it's not the time to profit from gold. I don't believe investors are looking for a store of value, yet.

Also, if someone could post something mind numbingly positive about DMTR that would be great. I like to be reassured whilst I'm sat in the station waiting for the train to depart!! ;-)

I believe it shows the answer to the 'safe haven' question is not always the same and is changing.

You will need to ask yourself the question as and when the four horsemen ride. Bitcoin may seem outlandish now but some form of DeFi may be the answer.

I'll come back to the old mantra of 'diversification is key' along with 'keep (some of) your powder dry' to take advantage of any opportunities that present themselves.

All the talk of XR3i's got me all excited. A 5GT Turbo man myself.

I liquidated 50% of my holdings in everything bar my pension, after the recovery last year. Something I had not done in 30 years of investing, whilst witnessing several market crashes. I thought a big rebalance was on its way.

I did this for reasons similar to the ones you guys have mentioned previously.............I am now however, changing my mind.

I consider my dealings here (small cap) separate to the general market. Although, not immune to market movements/sentiment, I think it is possible to invest effectively here, if done wisely and with a large degree of luck, even if the market tanks.

My prediction is that the central banks and governments will continue to print money for an extended period of time. They have indicated that they are very willing to do this.

They are very prepared to kick the can. Whilst bond markets/investors/institutions bury their heads.

Sooooooo, I am suggesting you need to get your money made from this little caper and get out before 2024.

I fully intend to find safety for my wealth after this time in sun, sea and relaxation!!

Usual WTFDIK caveat.
