Always good to see contract renewals - would be even better to see new contract awards which would very much fire up the SP

Bought RR at 80p and have literally sat back and watch the company and market do its work. Seems now to be stalling around the £10 level - further to go or is this likely to pull back, especially if their numbers fall short in any way (not saying they will, but markets are pretty unforgiving these days if expectations are not met, and the market will have expectations with RR).

Positive update here and good that the SP has responded well. At 190p/share, translates to 5.4p/share pre-consolidation so still looking very cheap - these have traded at 10p (350p/share on a consolidated basis).

Interesting read indeed .. and the Lloyds SP has been holding up well despite all the car finance 'noise'.

Agree Liberty2 - the SP is in a holding pattern now until the SC ruling in a few weeks and likely to drift. I sold out last week at 370, having breached my 355 average price, seeing there was the run up to the trading update. Will likely go in if any further weakness, as its a good long term hold, albeit uncertainty on any SC / FCA rulings.

Twodegrees - in theory the share price should increase by 35 times so no loss in value.

Knot - SP likely up on the back of Lloyds and no increase to their provisioning and also another day that the SC hasn't passed judgment. This could go either way and i'm around 10p away from break-even.

Another one I'm aware of which is also looking to consolidate shares is Norman Broadbent (NBB) - recruitment business, whose shares are around the 2.50p/share mark. This one has a huge dealing spread, can be 0.25p either way, so wonder if this will tend to narrow upon consolidation?

In my prolonged experience, these things never work in favour for the shareholder and trade at lower than than the adjusted pre-consolidation price, which I think here was 12.74p x 15 = 191p/share.

Out of interest ... what is the highest number of houses built in the UK in a year? I'd be assuming the 1950's post-war, and even then was it averaging 300k per annum.

With the current unattainable 1.5 million over 5 years - does this mean completions or merely putting a spade in the ground?

Agree Pavriko - currently there is no confidence in markets and there is so much fragility around, with markets lurching from one data set to another. Any good results out there are sold into and the SP drifts back with no follow through momentum, and the SP of any company mentioning a headwind in 2025 is getting hammered (4Imprint, Clarkson)

Agreed - should be a complete sector re-rating here with most housebuilders' SP's at depressed prices and likely close to 52 week lows, and sector earnings having been pretty solid all round (Vistry excepted)

Any thoughts here on Delta's weaker results that came in after hours US time and impacts or not on RR?

Having only seen the headline numbers and not read through the body of the report, this looks pretty positive to me ...

Wouldn't be surprised if a few suitors are running the slide rule over this one even more now....

Why wouldn't WJG have released this out to the market? Surely the company communicating any good news, contract awards/wins will help boost the SP here?
