Having just got BT sport on my Sky platform, I must say I am quite impressed with their football offering. The potential purchase of EE by BT will not harm their bid in the forthcoming Premier League auction. EE are the biggest mobile operator in the UK, with their superfast 4g network and own mobile TV channel this will only enhance BT's bid.

What's the point have having a dedicated European channel when they have lost the rights to the Champion League from next season?? Over 20% of subscribers have Sky Sports, how many will there be next year?

Good point, mobile 4G broadband is making home broadband and satellite become obsolete. I can download a movie or stream a football match in HD in a fraction of the time. Everyone is tethering with 4G now cutting down line rental cost and a faster connection! Long term need for satellite is diminishing.

SKK, I think your calculations are erring on the conservative side, however sometimes it's wise to be modest in revenue forecasts. We have to take into account the other 87 gtld's we own although probably not as productive as the Geo's some will surprise us. Also the revenue taken by being both a registrar/registry gives us access to ALL Tld's. The 2-3 year timeframe used in the calcs is quite short for the domain business. As Bonum as stated most of the Capex has been expended and operating costs are low, recurring revenue streams for future years have to be taken into account to reflect in a true SP. Taking all this into consideration (plus some valid points I may have missed) I would expect a figure much higher than your forecast. Regards N.

In the event of a takeover Paul, I would think a cash, or cash + share offer would be on the line. As Bonum has said there will be a lot of consolidation in the whole industry, and this has already started.
