It's half that in reality (2.80 / 3.30p), but agree with your sentiment. After walking it down yesterday on no volume, now walking it up on the same. Won't make any difference - TEAM mid price currently 28.5p,which at mooted ratio of 0.195 shares per WHI share = 5.5575p per WHI share. I'll be happy to hold until takeover and take my TEAM shares at that price.
Absolutely, the only explanation, not possibly, oooh I don’t know, a well-run company keeping its shareholders updated with its ongoing progress . Clown.
Agreed. I expect 4.25/4.75p will be the new range in the next day or so, pending confirmation of a formal offer (and pricing). I wonder whether there are any other potential bidders lurking in the wings, which might support the rationale behind the indicative price of TEAM's non-binding proposal?

TEAM current SP showing as 27-29p bid/ask. So assume even at 26p to sell, 20266*0.195 = 5.07p per WHI share (at buyout price of 0.195 TEAM shares per WHI share), and that's to sell. Taking a figure of 28p (TEAM) would equate to 5.46p (WHI). I think this is close to a done deal (why wouldn't it be), but if/when we get that confirmation I would expect another massive rerate to reflect the sorts of figures I've outlined above. All IMHO DYOR etc.
WH Ireland, the wealth management group, is in talks about an all-share merger with Team, another London-listed operator in the sector.
Sky News has learnt that the two companies are in advanced discussions about a deal that could value WH Ireland at more than 4p-per-share - roughly eight times the value of a rival transaction which was voted down by its shareholders last month.
New director appointed - for deal / buy out?27 Oct 2025 08:13
Interesting RNS this morning, appointment of a new NED (and minority shareholder) - they wouldn't be doing this if things were terminal, and screams of deal making negotiations behind the scenes IMHO.... this remains high risk, but could multibag in the blink of an eye with any positive and transformative news... either way we should find out very soon! GLA DYOR.
I'd accept an early buy out now, but would want a minimum of £1, and ideally a lot more. V unlikely to happen imminently in my view though - Bo will want to get a proper (Bo selecta) return for his company, which will need us to be further along the curve of production and resource proving.
