your dads a fool. ive been in echo for over 3 years with probably more invested into it then your house is worth so please shut up. ill be back because i do really feel echo have turned the corner but i have identified a better investment elsewhere. ill be injecting new monies back into echo in the near future.
i sold a huge chunk of my investment today. hoping to buy back in when more confidence comes in. money to be made else where with better returns than echo in the near future. pressing the sell button was hard but sometimes needed.
Hi guys. does anyone know whays going on with travel restrictions in argentina. been reading up and sounds like they will be opening up their borders but only to 5neigbouring countries. does anyone know whay these means for bringing in equipment for the PA testing. I would think this type of activity, would be considered work as opposed to tourism and therefore doesnt fit that category. any thoughts what this means for echo?
your right we need substantial news. not sure how much progress has been made on this. last time I spoke to martin he said the work over schedule would be announced in due course which makes me believe they habent started yet. he also talked about the poor weather suggesting challenge to progress. so not sure.
I emailed Martin about an operational update and he confirmed they are finalising operational programme. it sounded like no work overs have started. he did comment that it's been a bad winter, weather wise in argentina and they will update in when appropriate. bit dissapointing but hoping the programme looks exciting.
Partridge talks a load of crap. I've never heard him say anything productive or positive on this chat. everytime I see his name, before I read his comments I know it's going to be full of absolute nonsense. Go do one!
just seen this, great for oillies including echo. should provide some assurance for the industry.
hoping for some good debt news and drilling new. who knows! but here's to some good fortune, otherwise it will be a long wait for tapi akie drills.
He/she and a few others on this board post negatively across a number of share chat groups. Not entirely sure why they post to be honest. no one cares when they have nothing constructive or of value to say.
Im tired of hearing negative comments on here by people who have an agenda. There is fact, and then there is negativity. The current situation ain't great, but the increase in oil price will certainly help the oil and gas industry, and certainly echo's cause. you need to loose your negative comments and take them to another board!
I will be comfortable with my investment when I hear some cost saving initiatives including director pay cuts in salaries.
I too like MarkyB work in the aviation industry. We as a business have had to make significant pay cuts to survive. Our CEO, leader of one of the busiest airports in the world is not being paid for 3mnths along other pay cuts throughout the organisation. I think Echo can survive this, but they need t do more.
A number of companies unfortunately have had to let a number of employees go otherwise the company will seize to exist. my organisation has been hit very hard, and have had to make a difficult decision reducing wages, bonuses, salaries and allowances. The CEO has decided to take 6 months unpaid salary. I wonder what our exec team will be doing to salaries, pay packets and bonuses to weather this hardship echo is experiencing.
I did not think we would see sub 1p. absolute joke. god knows where the sp will go if the testing well is a duster.
praying this well comes good, as it may be a long road to recovery. when you look at the trades, there is a flurry of sales. no buying taking place which is disapointing even at these low levels.
