Alba are in a better position now than they have been for a couple of years... GROC making good progress and Alba have access to Clogau gold mine which they had been waiting on for ages due to the bat issue.

I think Alba were unlucky that the record rainfall coincided with the dewatering and I don't expect too much time to be wasted getting the licence updated and to be a little more flexible, easpecially to maintain levels once dewatering is completed.

I was just dreaming of up coming news...... RNS headline..... Jet pump rockets production(fingers crossed).

How they stand with insurance payments would be good to know too as that money is earmarked for refurbishing the gas facility.

No news is good news.... but who said that hadn't invested in oil and gas! Should be news this week on Williston if nothing else.

Because the engineers couldn't predict the unusual amount of rainfall for July due to lack of psychic ability.

I emailed him to enquire if there were any questions at the AGM and he replied that there were no questions but when there is something to report to the market he will do so.

Should be a Williston update on Q2 this week and probably an update on other activities too.

My guesswork is they are concentrating on 36-2 for now and they know if they get everything right with repair/replace tubing, concrete squeeze and perforation ready for testing/production then that will set them up for the foreseeable.

Alba are in a good position with GROC and getting the Clogau mine advanced if Horse hill gets the go ahead that would be all anyone could have asked for this year. Plenty of growth to come.

AGM tomorrow.. hopefully there will be an update too.

Well done HDT.... I was reading the 2012 survey yesterday and a bit of the history of Clogau. That survey estimates there is still a lot of gold in Clogau. The last mining operation here was small scale and only stopped because of the gold price dropping to around £300 ounce. Also there could still be quite a bit of gold to be found in the historic tailings. So looking at the overall picture(including GROC) I feel very positive for the sp over the next few years.

Good to get updates... and good to know how keen they are to get the work done.

If the surveys are correct there is a lot of gold still to be mined.

The RNS dated 10th July stated approx 7000ft of tubing has been removed which leaves around 1900ft to go. I would sooner they take their time and get everything done properly rather than rush the work. They have time to get the work and testing done as the Dominion pipeline won't be ready until later in the year.

Market cap £52m ... making around £25m from non ops with more coming online this autumn. Two wells proven to have gas/oil(I won't count the recently mentioned minor well) one very high pressure. This SP is ludicrously low by any standards.
