Nice post. Totally agree.
I've considered selling out or reducing several times over the last couple of days but really can't find better value than here. May well take sometime but rewards will come to the patient.
Also a buying opportunity if you are not already, like me, overweight here.
Where's oil abuser? I'm missing his advice.
Oh, perhaps he's concentrating on the 30%+ loss he's had over at Tullow in the last 24 hours . ????

I think you're lost mate. You need to get back to ramping the debt ridden alternatives where you're normally found.
MM's cleaning up again. Spread 5-7% today.
Coming out of the woodwork with their low guesses after watching the POO flatline today.
Really surprised there was no improvement after the weekend's agreements, makes you wonder what the market was actually expecting/hoping for.
So when are we back to work?
A lot of opposition to the SA gov extending the lockdown to the end of April & only 27 covid deaths to date.
Is an early May restart too ambitious?

It's for a bit of fun mate
Helps us get through the day whilst the market is totally undervaluing our company.
What's your best guess? Go on, push the boat out, you might enjoy it. ??

II piece. All good RRE gets a nice mention @ 9 minutes.

Obvo ??
I was just wondering, with much of the negotiating already done I'm sure, whether there was a scheduled statement time.
No dramas if not, would be a good opening price Tuesday comp if no news before LSE closes.
I see the OPEC+ meeting is scheduled for 2pm BST.
Does anyone have any idea whether news from the meeting will be released before the LSE closes for 4 days?

What Bronx meant is that you don't post on a needy hour by hour basis shrieking "where's my news? The whole company is ****e" basis.
I'm with you, let the guys get on with their knitting, good news will come when Cathal is ready, and we will all be well rewarded. However that might not be today, or even tomorrow.
My favourite Buffet quote.
"The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient"
This is a good company and a long term hold.

Agree with yours sentiment and have filtered accordingly. Would suggest others who are tired of wasting their time reading & replying to negative derampers do the same. I too welcome reasoned argument.

Market turmoil brings opportunity.
The outlook is not positive and there is no demand.
We have the cash to survive this, many others don't.
AA has multiplied the value for holders 18 fold (was 40 before Covid)
Around 900p is probably about right atm, it will go up tomorrow if OPEC+ reach an agreement, it will go down if they don't.
We all know this.
So why, why, why do you keep repeating the same dirge?
You're dull and unimaginative and nobody invested in this company listens to you.

Where are they all coming from?

Correct, the oil market is depressing. But that brings opportunity. A company like RRE with no debt, loads of cash and a CEO who has skin in the game and is sharper than you or I means we, more than anyone else, are positioned to take advantage of those opportunities. £50 is a long way off, but I wouldn't bet against it.
Now go and do your homework.
I'm a fairly simple soul. Great results, appreciate the first half hour is all over the place but 769p?

Hope I'm wrong
Monday Open?
Market's totally irrational atm so with
OPEC delay & results out I'm guessing Wed or Thurs I'm going for 710p. Obviously hope it's higher. Also reckon there'll be a significant drop Thursday pm with traders not willing to hold for a 4 day weekend in the current climate. Again, hope I'm wrong.
