I want a commodities boom - my MAFL shares would do well.

I read some of the comments on the RMM board - there were many so happy about the spiking copper prices, but they were either ignoring RMMs current hedging contract and / or confusing spot prices with what copper might sell for next year / when hedging is next negotiated.

It is too easy to get overly optimistic and overpay if spot prices are used to value future production.

First time I have read of the concept of "virtual power purchase agreements". In time, they will generate a lot of renewable energy in places where there is insufficient demand. The power will need to be stored - green hydrogen?

As long as the plot has not curdled... It has been a long time since first production was planned in May to august last year.

Not that I use Facebook or allow adverts but that is not the point is it?

It is the warrants that would worry me - the lenders are sitting on a shed load of potential profit; at some stage they will cash in; will there be enough demand for hundreds of millions of shares being sold when buyers know there is such a big parcel to sell? There seem to be many semi-wise wannabe traders holding that share so they might head for the doors en masse if they smell a large dump of warrants being cashed in.

But you like these volatile miners - getting the timing right can be very rewardable.

As "the Company is investigating financing options" and that there are still "3,022 tonnes of copper to be fulfilled at $7,700 for the remainder of the year" then money is needed, and they do not get the full benefit of increased copper prices.

My 2 pennies worth is watch out for West Face Capital taking up any warrants at 0.2p [?10% of the company?] - I would take any sign of them cashing them in that prices will be lower than the price they cash them in at for a few years, possibly after a large discounted placing.

Artificial wood? I am going to keep an eye out so one for my watching lists...

I have been keeping an eye on this since the last update and finally bought a few shares today. I expect dividends to be reinstated this year, probably at a nominal amount of half a penny. But, I expect sustained earning to go back to around 7p a share which may even be flattered by decreased provisions for bad debts.

This share was nearly twice the price a few years ago - with the majority of earnings being reinvested in the company there is significant scope to grow earnings with the improving economy. A little over 40p seems a realistic short term target which would be around a 30% return in a couple of months.

Anybody know Time Finance - it is on a watchlist and is looking good for a resumption in dividends later this year. A couple of percent is possible, and they have been covering dividends around ten times as they grow their lending assets?

From memory - it is getting too hot in traditional growing zones in South America and there is a problem [fungus or floods?] with the beans used in instant coffee? But (a) the cost of beans only makes a very small percentage of the cost consumers pay and (b) I only drink organic tea.

The immune response to the Sinopharm vaccine seems to be around 50% - not enough; there have been similar problems in Chile. Gibraltar are doing very well - but GOV decided to give them the Pfizer vaccine.

Options are mentioned 46 times in the latest accounts. They will have to issue some more at better prices to keep management interested?
