I do not like Ed that much - he knew his brother had more chance of getting a Labour win with the general voting public, even if he [Ed] had more chance with Labour voters. It seems as though the Conservatives who are leaving the party, are leaving because the Conservatives are not the party of old - they are a mix of English Nationalists supported by a rag band of rashists, xenophobes, crazy Christians etc. A bunch who never could get enough votes themselves, but as a loose coalition under the Conservative banner have had enough votes for a while.

But without the real Conservatives like Iain they are walking back into the wilderness. Unfortunately, the mess they have created will take time and a visionary to fix. Bring back David Milliband...
