Some good news at PHC - EPA approval for the distribution of one of their novel biopesticides has finally come through. It should make approval of other peptides from the same platform easier in due course [a bit like how mRNA vaccines are easier to approve following the Covid rollout of mRNA vaccines to treat that disease]. Fungus and bacterial infections are a growing problem [excuse the pun] for farmers who are facing these pathogens developing resistance to existing treatment that consumers are increasingly not wanted to be used as the residues are toxic.

A significant milestone that will generate gross profit rates of over 70%. PHC's use of distributors means that they are able to leverage a fixed cost base to rapidly get to profitability as sales grow [which will keep growing at around 50% a year for a good few years].

I get most of my shopping from Ocado; you can place orders 4 weeks in advance and as long as you check out, you keep the price of any offers [their special offers are for 'order by' as opposed to 'deliver by']. And, if you do not want the item 3 weeks later, you can cancel the order / part there of.

Been quite useful to lock prices in during inflation. They also have 'flash sales' as you check out, and I have done well with Packington free-range chicken recently getting cuts at 70% off.

lti - at least you are prepared to admit that the 'free trade' deal is not really a free trade deal. It is the first step towards accepting that Brexit has only brought economic hardship so far. If your Brexiteer heros do not make a success of it soon then the weight of public opinion will force politicians to forge ever closer relationships with the EU.

People did not think that they were voting to make themselves poorer. As a Lloyds shareholder I would have thought you wanted the best for the economy - after all, a good economy is good for bank investors.

Unfortunately politics has interfered negatively with free flowing commerce and anything that negatively impacts the economy damages the value of banks [less trade and more bad debts]. Brexiteers may wish that poor economic decisions are forgotten about and not mentioned but any rational discussion about Lloyds must include a discussion about the political economy and if and when poor economic decisions will be made and reversed.

Of course people will get to chose again; a once in a generation choice means that another vote could be within 15 years.

Why does it bother you if there is another one? Surely the promised benefits will be clear by then?
