As our Rig boys have said things, can be very changeable in this industry but from RNS comments and emails I’ve had with him, he certainly seems to more than one option.

And as for all the negs, I presume your all still at school and have never been through the process of building a company up or house or for that matter even buying a house we once had neighbor who waited 8 months to finally get the wet signature.

JA’s confirmation of multiple rig opportunities is the real takeaway. High Island II, Shelf Drilling Victory, and Borr’s Prospector 5 are all in-region and viable alternatives that’s just a few I’ve found🙂.

One thing is certain: With rig owners increasingly wanting to avoid the Gulf With, West Africa’s growing rig density, JA is clearly on the ball with several irons in the fire!🙂

SD VICTORY Jack up rig is in the Gulf of Guinea current status Restricted maneuverability!!!

The High Island II is currently ended its initial short-term campaign in Nigeria, with its status as of late April 2026 showing it has relocated to Equatorial Guinea.

The rig's primary short-term commitment in the Gulf of Guinea was a one-well contract (estimated at ~45 days) that was scheduled to begin in late May 2025 following its mobilization from the Middle East.

Current Location: Tracking data places the rig in Luba, Equatorial Guinea, as of mid-April 2026. This indicates it would currently be between assignments or preparing for new opportunities in the region.

Future Work: There is no publicly confirmed long-term follow-up contract specifically for the High Island II as yet.

Geographic Positioning: The rig offshore near Limbe, which is actually further from the Addax site than its previous Nigerian position, but roughly 30 nautical miles from Tower's drill location.

Limbe : Is Regional Hub for Oil Services: The Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering (CNIC) facility at Cape Limboh is a designated deepwater site specifically designed for the repair, maintenance, and supply of jack-up rigs. It is the primary logistics hub for rigs entering Cameroonian waters from Nigeria.

Transition Point: Having just completed its program in Nigeria, the rig requires customs clearance, fresh provisions, and technical inspections before spudding a new well in a different jurisdiction.

Staging for Njom-3: The Tower Resources Njom-3 site is only about 30 nautical miles from Limbe. Mooring here allows the crew to finalize "readiness for drilling" while awaiting the final formal documentation for the Thali license extension and farm-out.

A Question to our boys in the know, about rigs? The rig seems to have headed south, past the hoped for and anticipated destination, but now the vessels are coming about with rig ! do they normally position the rig with the bow of the tugs vessels etc facing the current, if so then that makes sense?

Well that gets the imagination and thoughts going but I think I’ll keep them to my self😌

CMG It Does look lower on latitude doesn’t it. We shall see is it possible it has to swing in from a certain angle to miss sandbanks and of course existing undersea pipeline infrastructure. Or maybe just popping down to Limbe to clear customs and border control (joke 😂)

Admarine 501 is physically inside the Thali block boundaries, in the Rio del Rey Basin about 20 from km Njom-3 well site on the Thali block.

Good 'Til Canceled (GTC) Orders: These stay active for 30 to 90 days. An institution can place these far below or above the current price as a "safety net" and cancel them instantly if the rig movement or other "due time" milestones aren't met.

I know you like facts: So the perspective I came from affected our exchange last evening.

It’s a fact: There are deceptive people and AI bots using social media to manipulate sentiment and drive share prices down. To ensure your engineer’s perspective isn't mistaken for these tactics, I suggest framing concerns constructively is key . Otherwise, a purely negative stance risks appearing indistinguishable from those intentionally devaluing the stock through misinformation.

I hope this explains where I was coming from and helps you understand my perspective. If you’ve been on here 14 years you must have seen it too.
