Did i say the £2 million investment was bad news ? Yes i did ...FROM a cash flow point of view !

It means there is £2 million less in the bank....

Where is Imm's long term strategy ?

Today they tell us that

1) They are stripping the company of all the pipeline ( except Lupuzor )
2) They have invested 2 million in Incanthera ( chaiman Mr Tim) with another 1 million stake as an upfront payment)
3) They are seeking a buyer for Ureka..Bordeaux...the french connexion...

It's an all in situation....I hope they know what their doing !

Todays bad news from a cash flow point of view is the 2 million pound investment in Incanthera.....

"The company has signed heads of terms on a clinical development collaboration with oncology specialist Incanthera, in which ImmuPharma has taken a £2mln stake in.

A licence agreement between the two is expected to be signed by the end of the year, a deal which is likely to see Incanthera pay an upfront licence fee of £1mln in shares and cover all of the development costs for the Nucant programme.

All future commercialisation revenues will be shared equally, ImmuPharma said."

That has always been my opinion but IMM cannot afford (on their own) to do another P3...so they are buying time for the moment imo..

What one should be asking is .....Where is the newsflow going to come from now ?

The extension trial ? Gone from 100 patients expected with results due out in Q1 2019 to 62 patients recruited with results expected in Q2 2019....

A new phase3 trial ?

What is left ?

IMM have annonced this morning that they have agreed to pay for this Map program which they have externalised ...Cost ??

They which to sell Ureka ( less people so good for the cash flow)

My thoughts have been confirmed ..1)..No partner in sight for Lupuzor in Lupus ...2) Only 62 patients enrolled for the extension trial instead of the 100 expected....3) The good news is that they are moving forward the rest of the pipeline (although in partnership with another of Tim^s companies....)

Lot's of smoke but nothing really surprising ....but at least it's an update...

IMM have not got the ressources to do another P3 on their own....They have imo not many options left.

We may see in future trials a change in the primary endpoint, as many lupus experts are now pushing for changes due to all these failures in lupus trials...
I expect the LLDAS will now be accepted by the FDA as a new primary endpoint....let's wait and see

It's true that most lupus experts were expecting good results from AstraZeneca, and so i was surprised by the failure...Astra has put a lot of money into this product so i don't expect them to give up just yet.....Just have to wait and see the results of the trials.., tulip1 and tulip2...

are a new blow to Lupus patients....

2018 was meant to be Lupus year but instead clinical failure after clinical failure.....

A new lupuzor P3 might now be on the cards if IMM can find someone to fund it....and to set it up properly

Wait and see...but still years away from any way to market imo

IMM has few options left, imo, either they move forward the pipeline or they are wait for the Astra-Zeneca results in Lupus to reconsider their future but they will have to update shortly .....
