I wonder if the markets are just waking up to the fact that fres is a good profitable company and has a decent dividend as well.

What has a company to do to get the share price moving upwards, in my book a company that increases profit like this, and increases divi to shareholders the share price should reflect on this, sadly sometimes don't know why it doesn't work out like that, you can get companys that bring out crap results and the share price rockets, strange how the market looks at share prices.

It might start to rise later in the day, but gold and silver down at the moment good results apart from some mines down in production, but i would have thought the increase in divi would have got this moving more than this, very strange indeed.

Seems very good, profit up more than 400%, divi nearly tripled very good reading until you get to production figures a lot of mines down on that, that is the only sting in the tail for me, but all in all seems very good.

Trading update tomorrow, results should be very good but it does not mean the share price will go up, just look at HSBC today 100% rise in profits and the share price has gone down.
If the increase the divi then imo that will move the share north, anyway GL for tomorrow and lets hope we have seen the last of the down days.

RBC raisers fres to 1025 outperform, but then JP Morgan cuts fres to 1000 neutral rating, you can't make it up.

Hi paddy, I am heavily into fres at around 860 (bought far too soon) been in and out of RR a couple of times back in again at 98 also been in ITM power once made money on them, I will buy back into those if they drop again to around 360.
I wondered whether to buy some of NEX yesterday when they dropped probably should have done.

Me too astro I am on around that price, lot to get back mate.
I can wait don't need the money just don't like to see it go down every day, this share is my biggest holding.

Just wonder if it will start to turn red after lunch like it seems to always do.

astro been in this one before made money on it, i watch this and other shares every day when i bought in this all the money men were saying gold and silver can only go higher thought it was a good time to buy, got this one wrong at the moment, i think it will come good at some point just don't when.

With August nearly here are we going to see a rally in the gold price, gold has risen 8 times out of 11 in the month of August let's hope we see 9 out of 12.

CAINO i never buy into a share for the divi, i watch a lot of shares on a daily basis, and i watch shares that have fallen quite a bit and how they have performed in the past, then i buy in when i think they will rise in quite a short time and then sell when i have made maybe 10%, timed it wrong this time.
I have made quite a bit doing this, but i will admit i do get annoyed when a share you have bought keeps dropping every day for what i see as no reason to do so, at least you should get an up day once in a while.

I would not buy into this share for the divi, if you want the divi you would buy into something like LGEN, or BDEV which pay good divi's.
Now if they increase the divi in the trading update then i would imagine it will help the share price quite a lot.

JMT the dividend yield only goes up if you have bought at the low prices, someone who has paid say 1200 a share are not going to get the same yield has someone who bought them at say 750 a share.
