The trouble is you have to hold onto your shares now incase there is a takeover, could happen anytime.

One of my other shares that i have has gone up a lot today on takeover speculation WOSG, not a bad day for me today with this also moving a bit as well.

This RNS has made a few start chatting on here.

If and I say if anybody were to put a bid in for this company, they only usually bid around 30 to 40 percent premium on the share price, which would only be around 160-170 on today's share price.

They might have made an operating profit, but that isn't the overall picture, it doesn't take in everything across the board.

They aren't really making any profit, there loss even widened last year.

Revenue forecast is to grow 55 percent per year but they need to start making profit.

They have enough money to last over 12 months but they need to turn this around, it's going to take a long time to do this.

It is the debt that is worrying the markets here imo if NEX can service its debts.

We are going to have to wait at least 2 to 3 years for this share to turn its self around.

The 5p divi was ok but not really enough to bring in the big investors, they can get better returns elsewhere.

It's going to take a hell of a lot to turn this share around.

If shareholders are prepared to wait a long time then they could see a 50 to 100 percent rise from this low, but imo it is going to be a long haul.

Nobody on here can explain the reasons why this is dropping everyday, NEX gives out what is decent trading updates every time, they get new contracts, but you get a few pence rise when they only to see it drop in the days after, and there is no real explantion why.
What are the markets seeing that we are not, is something going on in the background.

Why aren't the directors buying at such low prices.

All strange imo.

Why does a lot of posters on here think that because the share price is cxxx think there will be a takeover, it's not going to happen, you are all wishing it will happen because no matter what what great RNS keeps coming in the share price goes up a few pence only to drop back down.
NEX is out of favour with the markets, it has been like this now for Months, what will bring the share price back up is anyones guess.

Everythings growing in this company except the share price, i don't know what the markets want from this company to get this share price back up into the 200s.
We will see what happens in the next few days with the share price.

TUI not been established long enough 1972 it was formed, NEX 1971, and as for CCL a hell of a bigger company than NEX, maybe a lot more debt but even so.

CCL, TUI, I would say those 2 are blue chip companies, you can hardly really say NEX is a blue chip company.

I have found out you cannot go on past performances, not now anyway, i could name quite a few shares that will never get back to what they were, ie, ASC, BOO, PFC, TUI, CCL, just to name a few, imo we will be very lucky to see 160-200 by the year end, unless someone makes a bid for the company, which i doubt very much.
Unless they can put the prices up to cover all these extra costs, profit margins will go down, and i would imagine a lot of contracts they will be stuck with.

This will be down below 120 tomorrow, unless the ftseis well well up, we all seem to be flogging a dead horse here.

Looks like blackrock have increased a tad reading it very quick, but it hasn't made a scrap of difference to the sp.

The Saudi contract has already happened or so i believe, as for the divi i think that is already priced in, and i don't think it attract funds, anyway on ex divi day it will go down 5p anyway, imo they would have been better off not paying a divi and paying a bit of debt off instead, the divi has not made a scrap of difference to the share price anyway.

Looks like this will end up down, like i said the markets doesn't like this and there is nothing to push the price up, they are giving a great wage rise (which the drivers deserve ) but at the end of the day it will eat into the profits which the markets know this.

They could get a big contract, they might not even put out an RNS stating this, even id they did it wouldn't move the price up much, and all this talk about takeover is just wishfull thinking, nothing out there to really to get this moving north and the markets know this.
All my other shares are up between 3% and 12% this one up less than 1% and it has been like this since the strike was over, it looks like we will all be waiting till next year for this to get anywhere near the 200 mark.

What big news is that then.

It's all well and good giving big increases in wages, but it has to come out of profits, or they have try and cut down on workers (bit hard when it is bus drivers) or put prices up to pay for it, which all could reflect on the next trading update.
