CMC shares markets drops 20% due to much lower investors trading activities.

In June, CMC blamed 'quiet market conditions' for a 15 to 20 per cent drop in trading activity in the previous couple of months.

Online trading platforms have struggled to maintain activity levels seen during Russia's invasion of Ukraine last year and the pandemic, when market turmoil had attracted more amateur traders.

Then in July, it said these conditions had continued into the start of its second quarter, but at the time it did not expect a hit to income, thanks to stronger interest income offsetting weaker client activity.

The more of us the better. Indeed, without us pumping our hard cash into cpi shares, Capita share price would had taken a much worser turn which I prefer not to speculate as its bad enough with what we've already witnessed to date. If is true that most of the Investors funds managers are yet to come back and meet up with IR Ms Helen Parris, then I would hope then to see some decent movements in the share price once the big money funds get their hands on super cheap stock if by then we would still be at these scandalous low levels. Anyhow, I'm quite chill with the entire run of the events and not going to sell up none of my cpi investment until I see at least 27p for starters. Have a good one👍

Just finished speaking with Capita Ms Stephanie Little Investor Relations Manager who I've asked for an update on IR Ms Helen's Parris who is yet to come back un her office from her family event.

Stephanie has informed me that it hadn't generated as much attention from the Funds Managers that most are still on their summer vacations breaks. Therefore, we should be expecting this to improve once these fund managers are back in their offices.

She's also aware that we've raised the question as to why one one member of BoD has acquired shares and that we have more skin in Capita than the people who run it.

I also made her aware that they need to start implementing new media coverages that ideally would bring in the new Ceo Adolfo and have him present us the shareholders his plans moving forward so to generate interest from investors that insofar have only seen articles after articles of negative news and nothing from the BoD to put breaks on the falling share price which herself has called it very extreme and doesn't reflect the Capita 4th very clear TU and said she cannot understand why it has been taken so negative my the market as it shouldn't be. Anyhow, I said to her that if cpi continues falling down even lower, then the company that she works for will end be worth just a few hundred millions. I thanked her for calling back after getting many missed calls from me.

The printed trades as you put it are very helpful in an ordinary trading condition which obviously is not. With what we're seeing before our screens, this does raise the question as to what's going on and what should we do?

The answer is to keep calm and let the starving punters get their piece of cake at their 'whatever' price they want it. Don't despair. It wouldn't be the first time to watch cpi being walked slowly down to put fear in the long holders. I've been in it during the Ukraine war when with my avg of 33 I had see it going to near 20. So, I've been here before. Take all a chill pill.

You wouldn't unless they're over 3% and I can assure you many of those small positions held by institutional investors where sub 3%.

So, if they sell out, you would only know if you had access to the Bloomberg terminal where almost everything is seen coming and coming in near real time fashion.

I strongly believe that you've reincarnated in the wrong shares discussions board 2reincarnated. You should try to read before you go on posting nonsense multibaggers claims. Capita is a proper legitimate business and not you typically known Aim stock like Wandisco, BooHoo or others similar stocks.

Capita is and will pull through once the new Ceo start making his way into the main news headlines. Unbelievable that folks can come here with their silly low ball share price expectations and think that the JL, BoD, and the new Ceo will just do nothing about it. Let's see.

I like your humour and can add that me and you have similar beliefs on the basis of what you posted. I'm almost 15% but could had been worse.

I remember when last year Russia attacked Ukraine and all the major funds started redirecteding their investments and selling out to go in cash and treasury bonds and what not.

If you remember as many should do, cpi dropped very slowly but surely very close to 20 before it rebounded with great difficulty towards 25 and then fought hard to push over 30p with this year March results and continued towards plus 42p before profit taking and news of the cyberattack and bank runs brought it down around 35 and then 28 ending with the day before 4th August TU at 26.8p.

During the first months of the UKRAINE war, I was avg at 33p. As cpi kept falling down from high 30s and passing my 33p, I sat waiting to buy in if it went lower. Once it did, I 😄stupendously bought more at 25 thinking it was a bargain which it wasn't as it continued further down before the huge rebound.

So, I'm not at all shaken by the current drops, but I'm definitely pis..sed off🤬

300k trades buy volumes versus 2.5million trades sell volumes. It has happened and personally witnessed these anomalies whilst observing cpi trading volumes patterns.

Just like when we say there's a 'background seller' that's pushing cpi down, the same goes for when we supposedly see more buys than sell trade volumes by many millions and cpi drops, then be prepared to see the opposite if we were to see large sell volumes and very small buy volumes. Anyone wants to argue with that feel free. Imho

Oh well. Tomorrow is another day and hopefully the day that will bring cpi back to if I may to say so around 18.89p to 19.10p. Just as quick we lost today almost 1 penny, we can quickly to recover it. Never try to outplay the Cpi market makers. They're a nasty bunch. If and when they see it fit to let it rise up, then cpi will do so very quickly even on a less than 300k buy volumes versus 2.5k sell volumes. Don't be surprised when the math don't add up and cpi is rebounding at speed. A new bottom is just for the shares charts enthusiasts. See you all tomorrow.
