How many times have you read posts that some poster makes a comparison with another similar company and wonders if only they would want to buy that company out or take over? The fact is that when you hear a rumour, that is the one that will never get anywhere. But it is when you don't hear nothing about another company showing an interest that makes the biggest surprise. The stealth mode purchase or take over all out of the blue is the one that worries the shorters like AimMaster2018, you and chum friends in the known.
Take how you want to take it. That's how I see it guys.

Blah blah quoting that you agree with AimMaster2018 as just speculation.
It was quoted as an example obout their recent shopping spree and taking over of another firm with government and private consulting services.
As your baba might not have yet not come around to figure it out, Capita also has indeed divisions that them too deals with building and construction services. Therefore my point was made no to speculate but to show what's currently in the happening amoong firms within the similar sector as Capita that too have been around like Capita since the very early 70's.

That's is imho how I see it. Cheers. I hope who ever wishes the cpi to hit low 20s gets scalped to hell. NoFear.(^_^).

Just imagine if that did happened. What would be of you and your shorting alias team of mello, passmore and others?
I was invested in Capita in 2020 when I received a early morning Cpi RNS alerting me of a private fund apparently looking to buy Capita.

That morning the MM's shoot cpi it up and then closed the gates until they had enough time to figure out that it was just a rumour that later that morning Capita had to rebuke with an RNS denying that it was for sale and that it not received a take over offer. In the meantime the share price remained high until it deflated back to where it was before the rumour hit the top media papers.

So, do all us a favour and never say never because I've seen and lived through more rumours of takeover offers that you'll ever see in your living days.

Thanks for your post. I thought it would be interesting to post something about the WSP that have recently just bought just last week two businesses from Capita PLC for roughly £60m, which itself followed a deal for earth and infrastructure group Wood Group.

Would they like to buy Capita outright too?
It makes one wonder if they have so much cash to spend.

You have to feel sorry for Capita. Having been knocked sideways by Brexit and Covid, just as it gets its act together along comes what looks like at least a year-long recession.

Sharehead. I'm going to wait till either Thursday or Friday to release the Bloomberg Terminal Monitor Capita Institutional Ownership data update file.

I'm expecting to see some interesting changes and hopefully it will give us some heads up and we will be able to compare these with the previously posted cpi Bloomberg files and make a nice picture of who is and who is out by end of next week. Insofar, imho, I see sellers wanting out and buyers wanting the sellers shares for good keeping. I really wish I had more spare funds to pile on. Have all a great start of the week.

Nice big huge lots being bought. The buy volumes are nearing to equal with
the sells. Looks like the day of Bargain Hunting is almost at an end for now.

Insofar, today we had one apparently Buy for 664,014 for 26.168p a share [O] trade at 09:07:58 time.

We won't be long to remove the chicken s..hi..t sellers from last Friday and this morning too. Once we loaded on board the new bargain hunters, we should be sailing back into calmer waters and see the 29p coastline again much sooner than many would be thinking than not. It was obvious that we had a treeshake.
