I advise you to cut down on your laughing gas imho. It will eventually burn your delicate 🧠 out. Imho.

But yet I still believe that the cyberattack incident was Reuters last nail in the coffin ⚰️ for taking that final decision in not turning back and award Capita.

Anyhow, you wouldn't had known f all had I not digged more in the story as to why Capita lost on that Reuters Pension Solutions tender. Thanks AimMaster2018 for what you've just posted on the Teachers recruiting article. Capita BoD are in dire straits imho.

RPF, unhappy with level of service, picks new administrator.

Reuters Pension Fund is changing its scheme administrator in a bid to improve the level of service.

The switch to Premier Pensions Management from Capita Employee Benefits is expected to be completed in the first half of next year meaning May 2023 as seen recently in my post announcement of Capita not being awarded the tender again.

We have not been happy with the level of service provided by Capita and we aim that Premier will give a real positive change by significantly improving this,” the Fund’s Trustees said in their annual report to the nearly 7,000 RPF members.

As you know only a month after the cyberattack incident, the Reuters company awarded another company instead of renewing Capita soon to end current contract that has being handling Reuters Employees Pensions.

I see that cyber data leak incident as the sole reason for Reuters not awarding Capita another term and that is because they didn't want to risk it of that happening again.

6.1. Who do your propose? Seems a bit harsh to imprison the victim of a crime (the hacking)? Unless you’re proposing 6.2. imprisoning the hackers - in which case I agree but good luck finding and extraditing them!

6.3. I’d lock up the execs that clearly prioritise profits over taking cyber security seriously.

6.4. Again, a harsh approach. Every system is vulnerable to hacking - even the FBI has been hacked… it seems odd to punish the victim of a crime.

I don’t disagree that we’re victims - goodness knows we’ve had enough spam / attempted identity theft (seemed to escalate after the BA hack) - but I don’t think prison sentences really work as a deterrent and creates some perverse incentives. I don’t think you’d find many people wanting to be execs in that world - and you’d incentivise hackers to get in (more leverage for the ransom!)

7. My concern with the level and extent of hacking is that it will not be long before the data of a single hack is married up with the data if a second hack on another organisation.

Separately the data will not be enough to execute a fraud upon an individual but combined the results of the hacks will faciliate such a fraud.

My recommendation is that a fine of for example £5,000 per person whose data is hacked upon the company who has been careless will generate a fund to invest in a team to investigate and prosecute criminals.

[Capita hit by new data breach incident. Colchester Council accuses outsourcer of ‘unsafe storage of personal data’]

Capita is embroiled in a new data breach incident, as its client Colchester Council accused the outsourcer of “unsafe storage of personal data”.

Colchester Council said it had expressed “extreme disappointment with Capita” following revelations of a “serious data breach”.

The council said it was taking “swift and decisive action”, adding that it understood that the incident had affected several other local authorities around the country.

Capita delivers services to a number of local authorities including Colchester, Barking and Dagenham, and Barnet. Data belonging to schools in Sheffield was leaked following the Capita hack in March.

The latest revelation comes as the effect of the cyber attack in March continues to reverberate. Capita wrote to its pension trustee clients last week that its investigation into the hack is “unfortunately taking longer than previously estimated”.

“The analysis remains a complex, labour intensive exercise, and as a result this places risk on planned timescales,” Capita said, adding it was “hesitant to offer a fixed date on which we expect the analysis to be complete” but was targeting “on or around” May 27.

Every day cpi gets to hit a new low. Today the wide opening spread took it as low as 30.06p.

Tomorrow it will most definitely imho drop again and perhaps touch 29.06p.

I've studying today's cpi investors trade orders and what caught my attention is the usually seen in other previous trading days the AT transactions appearing on the order book that seems to have managed to even make a fool of the market makers.

What I mean for that is someone has find a way to trade cpi by posting either large runs of small Buy AT orders and also when they want down, large runs of Sell AT orders.

This kind of trading is pure manipulation of the share price that gives the illusion that is moving up on a decent buy orders when actually is only few thousands of lots being pushed through either way.

They cannot sustain this kind of trading for long and soon it will fall flat where the share price wants to be. Someone wants to fool newbies to join in by making it look that is up and save to buy. It's just nonsense and that's why I'm NOT buying it👈

There is always hope. I may come across of being a bit like 'doubting Thomas' in the story of Jesus. You just can't be too careful in these stock market days. No company is too big fail although I don't think Capita will ever fail apart from its shares possibly remaining stagnant over longer periods that most investors wouldn't happy want to go along if they had a choice in the first place. Let's see.

It's called having a hidden agenda. I might never again re- invest in Capita if I don't see it worthwhile or the stock is no longer appropriate due to having a higher risk of being heavily decimated on the back of what has happened.

Now you can understand Eatstocks when he previously said that I was pretty good in sourcing Capita articles. The fact that I'm no longer in that Capita discord group that Eastsnails is the administrator, is that I'm freelancer now and publish what in fact suits my personal agenda. It may help everyone do a reality check before they find themselves in deeper waters whilst holding it hoping that it's just a bad dream and that soon will just go away. I'm afraid that it just doesn't work that way in the stock market. Once the stench of the cyber attack data leak incident finds its way in just about every major and minor online news media front page, then there's isn't much that Jon Lewis and his BoDs will be able to do to save face.
