Thanks Cooper. I’ve also sent an email to H L so I’ll hope to get the same response.
Can anyone tell me whether shares only quoted on NASDAQ (and not e.g. quoted on AIM) can be held in an ISA?
Outside an ISA any gains would be subject to Capital Gains Tax!
Thanks
It’s as well to remember that the shares in a new company are not “extra” value. They’re just a transfer from OO of value that would have accrued there if the business has not been split off.
Thanks. That was the link that took me to the app!
I’ll try it again tonight.
I’ve tried the link given in the RNS and downloaded an app. Clickmeeting
However the app requires a 9 number pin (not the six quoted in the RNS )
Anyone had any more success?
Thanks Mart for a sensible reply and one that doesn’t resort to abuse. I agree with all you say.
I have already committed capital but want to limit my exposure at this point.
I’d be very happy to see my current holding go up in value and I’m prepared to pay more than the current price once I feel that the prospects are being realised.
Just making the point that the revenue received will have two large chunks to cover.
For most companies they just have their own costs to consider but in this business model it’s a different story.
I will hold on to what I have and maybe buy more when prospects are clearer. But I expect that to be at a much higher price than today’s.
So - no I am not wanting to buy on the cheap and would be very happy to see a higher share price.
Just a reminder of a very obvious point.
The revenue the company receives has, first of all, to be split with the games companies. We are not told what this split is but it is likely to be a substantial chunk.
Then the cost of running the business has to be deducted from the share the company has been able to keep. Also a substantial amount.
What is left will either be a net profit - or a net loss!
Just a statement. Not meant to be a ramp or a deramp. Yes I do have a holding.
I'm waiting for three happenings:
1 The H1 results - but aren't we all!
2. Notice of the Investors Day - promised for September (although I don't have a
reference for this) Getting a bit late for this now?
3. Notice of the launch of the SDK Plug in - in September

Any news on this event?
Bidstack is by far my biggest holding so what is below is very much a statement that I would like some informed comment on. In particular about the September date. Apart from the definition at the end it's from the Bidstack site.

(The acronym SDK stands for Software Development Kit. The term software development kit is generally used to refer to a set of resources made available by a platform vendor to enable development on that particular platform.)
Thanks for the correction
I relied on the CPE site on the internet!
It said (with some exceptional) but elaborated no further.
Be interesting to see what they do
I guess the main thing is that it’s happening
Cheers
Accounting Standards do not allow intangible assets created by a company to be shown in the balance sheet
They are just treated as expenses.
The only ones that would be included are those bought from outside the business.
Why does he post?
Why does he repeat the same points?
Ego building!
Every time he does it people respond
Some respond more than once
Each time he has a laugh!
He’s caught you once again!,
The only solution - which people have suggested time and again - IGNORE HIM!
Many thanks to those of you that have responded to my questions re a takeover.
Things look good either way.
I shall be patient- for a short time!
Noel
Thanks mrJimV. That encourages me!
I also remember talk of us showing that we could go it alone as producers and not being seen as desperate sellers - in order to get a better price!
So I’ll hang on for yet another year! I have an average of 45p so no too painful a situation.
All the emphasis at present seems to be on Hurricane becoming a long term oil producer.
Yet a couple of years ago it was all speculation over being taken over once FOIL had been achieved
Lots of discussion about majors being given access to the data room - and one being reported as having more staff examining the data than Hurricane had full time staff! (About 16 at the time!)
So what has happened- and where do we go from here?
As I understand it
There is no need to issue new shares to gain a JSE listing. No need for any dilution when the company has adequate funds for expansion
There will not be SA shares and UK shares just company shares that will be dealt in both exchanges Trading and between both exchanges will keep the price roughly in line
The company has declared that such a listing is a priority as there are many in S A that would like a share in this business - including institutions.
This is likely to have a bigger impact on the share price than any indication of a dividend policy.
All in my opinion!
There was a very interesting account published here earlier 14.34 that give an account of a new court case re mining rights. The court established that the government should ensure community approval before the granting of a mining licence.
As the licence for Mokopane has yet to be granted should we be concerned?
Do we view this as a positive ?
I guess it depends on who is thinking of buying and who is thinking of selling.
And what is the target.
It doesn't look like the sort of organisation that would buy just for the investment potential - but TFDIK!
