Still far too high IMHO! Who establishes what the spread should be?

With a current dealing spread of over 7% there's no wonder that there's so little trading. I'd love to know how they justify it.

The spread has been a long-standing gripe of mine. No other shares that I own come anywhere close to a 5% difference difference between the buy and sell price.

Little wonder with a spread over 5%...

It's bonkers! Despite the very positive RNS, the SP has crashed almost 9% on opening. Beggars belief!!

The SPV will keep assets and liabilities independent of the holding entity.

Given the positive RNS, I'm surprised at the number and scale of the selling which in turn suppress the rise in sp.

They had a much better day yesterday, granted. I doubt they'll keep but I'd be very happy to be proved wrong.

If market cap of Glencore is 65 billion & CNE is 645 million... comparatively, CNE should be targeting around 60,000/day. Certainly not the 9538 they achieved yesterday!!
I can't believe that the diminutive buyback rate is wholly ineptitude. Maybe its designed to suppress the sp to make CNE look like a cheap take-over. (I love a conspiracy theory!)

Another pitiful buy back day. Glencore seem to average about 600,000/day.

There were some huge after hours trades yesterday including a UT of £73m!

I think the buy-back of only 21,649 shares yesterday is a pitiful effort.

The only saving grace of this complete fiasco orchestrated by the BOD is the eventual re-rating of the remaining shares.

...I for one won't be taking up the woeful tender offer.

Having just read the circular on Capricorns website, the TO mechanism seems unnecessarily convoluted. Quite frankly, I'd rather we were just taken over!!

I believe the recent buy-back was only sanctioned by the BoD until the end of January.

I'm underwhelmed by today's RNS which I thought was particularly thin on detail. "Early 22" could mean anything up to the end of April.
