It's simply not In Suey Chins interest this side of going into production to be selling in relativly small quantities.

I have almost 50 million shares and consider myself in the middle of the pack holder. I've bought and sold in lots of 1 -5 million shares. Small- beer trades compared to Suey Chins holdings.

When they do sell it'll be a series of UT's to pension funds and other institutions to maintain sp values, otherwise... it's turkeys voting for christmas!!!

What you're seeing is retail customers with significant holdings selling chunks to finance other opportunities.

Our previous offtake partner will do a deal with Hainan which will probably appear as a UT.

The decline in the sp is as a result of the market making allowance for the 50% dilution caused by the MG demanding 35% up from the expected 20%.

Tactically, I suspect Kodal will want the takeoff agreement resolved before finalising the ML transfer.

I'm also hoping to see an RNS this side of Christmas advising commencement of commissioning and their anticipated programme through to testing and initial production.

Wouldn't they have to issue a TR1 notice if there was a change to Suay's holdings?

I have to agree Glenogle. Its western companies balking against the new code which was probably introduced because of their noncompliance with the rules. Africa has woken up to the royal-flush they're holding.

Come on Bernie, an update on site progress and MRE/JORC is in my opinion overdue.

I'm less concerned about which entity 'pays the tax bill' because that'll come out in the wash in due course.

Roger, given the MG demand for a third of the company (which means 50% new shares being issued) the re-rate has actually been quite modest.

Remember that the gold is wholly owned by Kodal and appreciates in value every day they don't dig it out of the ground.

Fundamentally, nothing has really changed. US$15 million is still owed jointly or severally (my money's on jointly) and will be sorted out by lawyers. Most disappointing was the unilateral declaration by Hainan which has soured an otherwise excellent relationship.

I did take advantage of today's dip to buy another £15k of shares @ .28.

To be honest, I see it as a minor re-rating after the dilution of shares to service the MG handout. It could have been much worse. It'll bounce back on the next next construction update, geo update, both expected imminently.

I think Bernie expected (in good faith) that the Mali government would deliver the goods but has been letdown by their apathy. Just my opinion.

Just a thought but I think the transfer of the license hinges on signing up to the 2023 code.
