The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Three brokers with targets above £3,70 great news. Still a bargain at £3,70 if you go long and this becomes ASOS size in three years £33.
Would love to invest here but every time I read an article in a glossy magazine or news paper listing the UKs best CBD oils . Nothing from this company is ever listed !? Despite there CBD being top notch. The company needs to flirt with the editorial press a bit more to drive sales .
CEO target of £4.50 Is the real target for anyone invested in the last year or two. Placing will be old news in a week. The real hard decision will be if you sell at £4 or go long for 3/5 years and see if we get to ASOS £20 £30 highs ! ?!
Nice to see Jefferies new rating of target £3.75 since the owners sold a few shares. Jefferies usually very reserved £3.50 - £4 then post Jan results
When you see a rise that and think “that’s come out of nowhere” it means from experience and history insiders can already see the good results which will be released Jan 11th ! Naughty but most often proven true. Also perhaps the £3.50 target from brokers
What would the share price be for John to make his target ??? Market cap needs to be 5.6billion so I guess the share price would be ......?
I hope this isn’t a trick ?! Like when Farage went on TV to say he had lost Brexit vote so pound went up then no del was announced and people made money.
Deal is possible today unless it’s not ???? And Boris and co are shorting these banks
Why is everyone selling ? Is it the high PE ? Or is this Brexit fears ? Help appreciated
Question : For the new CEO to get his 50 million pay out has he got to get the share price to £4.70 ? Trying to do the math 180% increase from when he joined £1.70. £4.70 / £5 seems very doable FOR Mr Primark.
Can I ask has this plunged because they offered shares at £12.50 to employees or to raise funds. Meaning it’s pretty much worth £12.50 then thanks to that??
Asia could be a catalyst for the share price of Whitbread in my view. Whitbread is gradually increasing its investment in the country at a time when wealth levels and demand for coffee is increasing. This could transform Whitbread into a global consumer services company.
Thanks for replying
Divi payment received but it looks like final sale (payment) date pushed back. Can anyone confirm is it .... April 14th or June 7th that payment will be made?
Final divi should be paid on Thursday Then all your shares get sold Friday Agree they could have got more 240p but happy with profit as I'm sure everyone is . Just thank yourself you did not sell the day before the news came out. Bye everybody very much enjoyed this stock sad to see it go.

Whitbread plc 20.9% Potential Upside Indicated by HSBC 48 pounds Numis 42 pounds
Whitbread's release underlined the improving popularity of Costa Coffee. Total sales at the unit soared 12.5% during the quarter -- a result that was attributed to the success of recent marketing campaigns -- and on an underlying basis revenues climbed 4.3%. And Whitbread is embarking on aggressive expansion to keep sales rising across the business. The company has a pipeline of some 14,000 new Premier Inn rooms in the UK alone. And expansion at Costa Coffee will see between 230 and 250 net new shops, and at least 1,500 Costa Express machines, unveiled worldwide. The City certainly expects Whitbread's long-running growth story to continue, and anticipates a 1% bottom-line rise in the period to February 2017, to be followed by a 6% advance in fiscal 2018. I reckon a consequent P/E ratio of 15.2 times for next year is great value, given Whitbread's exciting growth strategy and roaring success with consumers across the globe.
