Do you presume an offer has been made to PLND / INVESTEC yet? As in a price for each share

What will happen next ? Will there be an RNS which states Stein offer e.g £3.20 per share, cash. Then poundland becomes non listed company if excepted?

The Board of Steinhoff confirms that it that it has acquired 61,212,467 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in Poundland (the "Shares") which represent 22.78% of Poundland's issued share capital. Further to this morning's announcement, Steinhoff confirms that any possible offer for Poundland will be made in cash. Motivated buyers this could happen very quickly. good for everyone if sale goes through

Very interesting press around. Stein are extremely eager to get in on UK Market so their offer could be to good for shareholders to resist . Remember some big boys are still in here at listing price of £3.00 plus

Best to hold in these situations, if sale goes ahead it could be £2.80-£3.50. If sale doesn't go ahead the SP won't go back to what it was as its proven it is more valuable than first thought as an offer was made. I honestly think BOD will agree a sale as long as the price is right ! Stein have a lot of money so it won't be a bad offer. Good luck

PLND RNS advising us to HOLD. As clearly stein are buying anything that moves to increase their holding. This could end at £2.40 or higher just today alone. A bargain for STEIN how annoying.

Looks like takeover will happen as they are know the biggest shareholder. What will happen to our individual holdings ? snapped up by them for £3 £2.60 ???

It's £340 pounds !!! Not £34 pounds. For every 5k amazing really . Thats if the special divi goes thru

300 pound dividend for every 5k purchased at current price is worth it. Consolidation will stop the price from dropping after ex Divi date which all companies do. A clever move no?

If this share got the same press as ASOS it would be sky high where it should be. The massive dividend is reason enough to buy let alone the millions of cash in the bank and the expansion possibilities. Need a broker to spread the word.
