At current levels might be worth a punt but if you look at the performance over the last 5 years for example there are much better options. It does pay a dividend which is something, but if you go back they sold off their soft drinks and snacks business when that could have been a huge growth driver.

Unfortunately the business model has got some big problems, lack of product diversity, investment and falling demand. Feel for long term holders.

Thats interesting, I thought I had remembered a previous rights issue around that time. So Jmax is in this almost as long as me. Hard to believe we are in this situation again, and to think at one point there was even a dividend payment.

I guess we are in a holding pattern at the moment, waiting for outcome of talks, but both long and short options are risky. If good terms agreed, shorts will suffer. I am long only by default.

RG is heavily personally invested here so he has a direct interest in making the SP go higher, that can only be a good thing IMO
