I do most of the food shopping in Tesco...every time I see the manager on the floor his ears get rattled about the price hikes...small Heinz bean about a year ago..50p....now 65....thats a 30% rise.....their smoked salmon was £2.10....now £3 - £3.50....even at £3 thats a 42% rise and the thing that really annoys me is their whisky prices...Glenmorangie on special £26....normal is £36....now a wee corner shop does the morangie week in week out for £29 and he must be making a profit at that....I could go on......just doesnt seem right to see price hikes like that and folk look quite surprised when you tell them the %age rises that are happening...they dont seem to notice the odd 5p getting added on here and there.....robbing gits........and one of the local butchers is acting it up a bit too....2 slice of sirloin...£20....not that long ago it was £14 or less...so another one who likes 30% rises in his prices...then he wonders where I disappear to....another butcher nearby !.....end of rant 🙂

TSCO for a bounce off 202

Dont see Glenda doing a big rally at the moment, hence I am nipping in on the drops, catching the small bounces. Wouldn't be surprised to see her break below 300 before she hits your 340s'. Place the swings as they appear...hold the cash, when in doubt...dont put out 🙂

Nearly took TSCO at 212.20 and got greedy for a better entry...darned thing went back up...worth watching tho...a turn in the offing

stay away from the SB.....a few turns and yer hooked....a wee nibble in here or elsewhere is more than enough to keep you going until you're ready to go back in heavy on the trading....keeps the hand in....I felt so rusty after a year of being totally non trading.....Done about 14 transactions over the past month and down £150 in cashpot, slightly offset by some freebies running...so doing not too bad at the moment........as Jon Snow says....winter is coming

Might be tempted to wet the beak again.....ideally looking for 332.65 for an entry....but current seems faish....oops hold on...dipping below what I was looking for...

While in profit.....now will it fall back today/tomorrow....or fly....LOL

See its having a laugh.....opens 331-332, rises to 335 then the shorters move in again dragging it down to the 329 mark....shorters then switch to a 332 long and that takes us into mid afternoon where it pops up and down till it closes 332ish........then having said that, if you decide to sell at 335 waiting to buy back in...as sure as guns are madde of iron it sails on past 335 and you're left high and dry.....day trading....jist no what it used to be LOL

Think its time for a north run Billy....the past week or so gave the short sellers their turn and opportunity for those who wanted in on the cheap...I was down a fair bit after buying in, and so far recovered about half the loss....a tick or two upwards and bobs yer uncle

True , Billy....but Glenda is running like most....maybe enough of a swing to clear costs, but thats about it,,,gies a swing !

Looking at this one this morning...a couple of downward blips in the 316 area...looks like a couple of shorts on the go for that area....holding back on the buy just now to see how she fares
